My mum won 10k a few years ago. I've got a bit of money in them, and you're 100% right - its the idea of winning that drew me in. So far I've 'won' £50, which is about what I'd have expected to make in interest if I put the same amount of cash into a savings account. I wouldn't mind something a bit riskier though..

I dunno but make sure you cancel the directdebit that creditexpert DOES set up (even though it tells you its a free trial). biggest scam ever! caught me out. Anyway, £1,100 is more than enough earnings to blow £200 on a phone It could be that you've never done anything to give yourself a good credit rating? Ever had a credit card, phone contract, utility bills etc in your name?

In that case: don't get one would be my advice. A phone contract is a huge waste of cash at the best of times, especially as you've admitted yourself that you don't make phone calls very often. Trust me, the novelty of an android phone wears off after about 3 days. I tried taking mine back after a week as I was fed up of charging it all the time but they wouldn't take it back - I'm just glad I'm not paying for it for the next 23 months and I could just stick it on ebay if I wanted to (which I will do some day). Oh a month after it came out, the price of my phone dropped from £200 to £160. I'm guessing by September 2012 it will be worthless (so I best cut my losses sharprish..)

I've been looking at the wildfire too (got an x10 mini at the moment, but its a bit too mini for me). You know its only £220 payg right? £20 a month, 24 months is... £480 over all and the phone will be pretty much worthless at that point. If you don't call much (like me as well) then I doubt you'll spend £260 on phone calls over two years, I dunno. Something to think about, I know what I'd do!

This is a coincidence.. I was trying to sort out the shifters yesterday and it looks like they're just not compatible with my frame. I had a look inside the shifter and it looks like it expects to be put onto posts with flat spots on it. That probably makes no sense. Basically I've been trying to put a round peg into a square hole. I need shifters with round holes.. not square ones. Probably still makes no sense. Eitherway, since my other bike got nicked I've been riding it to work (with just the one gear), its bloody quick, and wobbly.. and dangerous haha.

I think we probably moved around 6 months ago, but since then one of the hard drives got corrupted which screwed things over for a couple of days. Basically the data center is upgrading their 'stock' which meant they offered us a free upgrade to get us off the old one. This one is even swankier
