  1. No I don't, Sci Am all the way... Those are basic examples yes, the stuff I'm referring to are particles a thousandth of a millionth of a meter in size in reliable solvents. These become much harder much faster and return to normal faster too. The whole fluid goes solid, not just the are of impact, aka like normal body armour spreading the load.
  2. Kings have no pawls. Anyway thats what he' doing and it isn't helping.
  3. Thanks Gazza, that explains it far better, I thought it might be to do with some of the weird and wonderful properties of Ti thats all.
  4. Yeah, but why do they have thos endings every Ti frame I've seen has some sort of ending before the dropouts, is there a reason for it?
  5. Can anyone explain to me why Ti frames have "bullet ending" on the tubes before dropouts?
  6. I have no one on mine simply because if you don't read the whole thread how can you post??
  7. It's a ti frame, you can bend it back soooo easily.
  8. Gap girl, the problem with integrated supports is that your body becomes reliant on them and becomes weaker beacuse of it.
  9. You need to flush it out using gt85 or wd40 like king recommend.
  10. Just thought I'd add something that can help you: some new technology just appearing on the market is nano particles in a suitable solvent, they harden almost instantly when hit, but are normally fluid, could help for a back protector.
  11. 23% with higher status name, 86% with more rural name. Bahhh, me be middle class.
  12. There are no compressive forces in the wheel, the rim has holes in it, throught these there are spokes that are held in tension, push the other way and the nipple (think funny shaped nut) is just being pushed through the whole, nowt stopping it. All the forces in wheels are supported by tension. (Yes, the hub bearings don't count.)

    Fat Tax

Mate, we already have that, it's not discrimination, it's tax.
  15. What grips are those? they look nice.
  16. Right, heres what you do: On the driveside of the hub theres an alu cap, slide this off the axle, then grab the freehub body and turn in the freewheeling direction, while pulling away from hub body. It's best to do this over a tray or in a box so you don't lose the springs and pawls. Once it's open clean it up, put your chosen friction reducing substance in and put it back together. Enjoy.
  17. Get some GT85, now hold one piston in and pull the lever til the second one comes out quite far, then squirt some loob on the piston, let it go back in and repeat til the stickiness disappears. This is obviously to be done without pads in.
  18. Right, measure from your bb to the top of your headtube, this is the reach measurement. This determines how "long" the frame feels, use it to compare frames.
  19. Onza has not gone bust, they're just moving site some time in the future. Just call supercycles, they will have what you need.
  20. Well, there aren't many animals round about here for people to rape, but it's not a good day unless you can get to 20 playing spot the junky.
  21. It's exactly how they all are, I have it on the front, nothing to worry apart. It's because the pads are held in using magnets, so can slide about freely.
  22. Congratulations, looks sweet.
  23. Alrighty, I need to know the geometry of a zona zenith, I know it's wheelbase roughly 1070, chainstays 375 and bb +25, but I want to know the headangle and the reach, that being the distance from the bottom bracket to the top of the headtube. So anyone who has one, get measuring please. I tried calling supercycles but they didn't pick up. Ta, Dave
