  1. If the wheel is old the spokes will have work hardened and become so brittle that they snap, your best bet is to get it re built.
  2. The forks do look bent, but they feel fine, so I'll leave them for now. The brake position is fine, not had a problem yet.
  3. That lad in the fully is seriously insane.
  4. Afternoon people, here she is. 5. Did you know that ice cream is typically 50% air.
  6. Do you say that to all the customer... I like it Mike, but mine is better My frame came through the post this morning so i'm gonna build her after brekkie.
  7. I think you guys are missing the point, being given a big corporate deal and relative financial security, then having it taken away somehow is out of order. Even though the ashton is an excellent there is no way Martyn can provide the sort of financial support a big company does for Martin. I don't know what happened, but if James says he was screwed over then I'll take his word on it.
  8. Don't try to do big hops, just little ones.
  9. Diamondback f**ked him over? Well, not buying anything from them, everytime I've met him he's been sound as.
  10. It's not something I personally have experienced, I suggest talking to the medical folk, might be a problem.
  11. Just buy it and strip it, it won't make a difference.
  12. Yeah probably, but it's good revision for my exam. The thing about the H2O argument is that water molecules do occasionally fission randomly, not often but sometimes. But the main factor is as I say the dissolved gasses. I'm sorry if I sounded like I was having a go but I though you had just missed the post. :$

A tap is a device for cutting threads, an M6 tap is a standard 6 mm tap, try your LBS.
  14. I've just sent him the link to this thread.
  15. We do our best to please. Read my last post, it explains this. That is only under STP as a pure liquid and also with no gasses dissolved within it. That is not a real world value I'm afraid, for normal tap water you can probably triple that as a minimmum. See above quote. Also everyone lay off Wayne, he's right water out of the tap has air dissolved with in it, he may be a bit confused about the exact science of it, but he is right.
  16. Sorry to burst your bubbles boys, but all water has air dissolved in it, not chemically bonded like in the water molecule but as small bubbles of gas in between the water molecules. The reason liquids compress so little distance between the molecules, now when you shove a great big squishy bubble of gas in between these molecules the water will compress more.
  17. Pushing the fluid is deforming it, all the molecules move relative to each other when you push on the fluid.
  18. Right, the propblem heres is not the density of the fluids in question but the viscosity, some liquids have very strong inter molecular bonds and therefore are highly viscous, this is not related to the mass of the moleculce, though the size of the electric forces between the molecules are also involved. Basically the density of the fluids is not the be all and end all.
  19. Get an easy outer, like a drill bit but turns it in the opposite direction.
  20. Ah well, good luck finding her, I'll keep a look out, but somehow I doubt it'll make its way up here.
  21. Talk to Dave somethingorother on here his name is Spacemunkee, he had the same problem, but sorted it.
  22. You could try going round all the LBSs, see if anyone has been in to try and sell it. Also you could try all the local cash converters type stores.
  23. Oooo, my grandad lives in southend, I might come visit you lads.
