I've got the stock fuzz bars mark and the stock stem too not sure what size they are. :$ I think I know how I got the injury, so I might give the fuzz another chance. :ermm: Michael, I think you'll find it very hard to find any muscle in my body that's not used to being abused, between rugby, running, gym, swimming etc I doubt I miss any parts. Thing is, I ride a giant team trials and that has a 22" top tube, and I have no problems on that, but I've ridden the bmx 5 or 6 times, for atleast a good 4-5 hours. Even when I didn't have a bmx of my own, I once borrowed a mates for a few hours riding and switching from a 22.75" top tube frame to it (20.75") was no problem, so I don't know. :P I know one has to get used to the position, but if I'm going to have to be in so much pain for a month I'm definitely going to have to wait til I have fewer demands upon me being fit and healthy. :$ Also paying 28 quid for 2 sessions at the chiropractor so he can untwist all the muscles in the right side of my back is a bit steep if I'll ned it for a month. The muscles were so badly knotted he thoght some of them were scar tissue.;) I know I make it sound like I was in a lot of pain, but I truly was, I've ridden home with broken arms, broken ribs and been out on me bike next day etc I don't have a low pain threshold but this was crippling. :ermm: Anyway off to see chiro ta for the help lads. Afternoon ladies and gentlemens. After twisting the muscles in my back leaving me barely able to walk let alone ride this was partially due to a short bmx, so now I'm looking for a longer bmx frame, I don't have a huge amount of money, but can probably deal with £200. Right now I have a mongoose fuzz, it has a 20.7" top tube, I need something longer. I'm around 6'2/6'3, so what do you guys recommend. Also preferably it will have an american BB and standard headset. I had a wee scan of alans bmx so heres what I was looking at: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,. I'm welcome to other suggestions of course and all help is greatly appreciated. Dave P.S. just measure up the fuzz again, top tube, centre of headtube to centre of seat tube is 21" and from bottom of top tube to bb is 22".

I'd suggest you get Edd to make you a pimp ass replacement cap, thst way if you break the non static pad's one you can replace it immediately. :turned:

Take water, pour on brake, ride as normal, repeat until it works well, learn to modulate it, when I got my hope mono trial I was making my front wheel skid braking, but now I stoppie to a halt. :P

Alrighty, right now I'm sitting in my house, in a hell of a lot of pain, why? Because I got a bmx and after riding five or six times, yesterday my lower back decided to start hurting REALLY badly. I could barely walk yesterday, and I'm pretty much the same today, however I can ride a bike just about ok, with a bit of pain. I'm looking for a way to sort my back, I think it's muscular, but I'm not sure. I'm around 6'2'' and my bmx has a 20.75" top tube I think, it's a mongoose fuzz. Any help seriously appreciated. :P

Have you tried taking them off and sanding them down?

If your gonna be changing rotors often try and get some bolts with normal head on them as opposed to the narrow hope ones if your set up fits it.

Avoid MET Parachutes like the plague, I've seen a lad with the plastic from them lodged in his chin, really nasty and it was a fairl low speed accident. If you can find a GIRO switchblade they were better.
