  1. Manuals, what a pain in the arse they are to learn. I had a murderous time learning manuals, at one point I could do them if I jumped up on to something, like a curb or the platform of a halfpipe, all the way along and drop back in again, just could not do them on the flat just riding along (no further than about 10ft) so this is what I did ( and it's a bit mad). I put a bag on my back with a load of books in it. Easy as then. The problem was all in my head and the leaning back bit, with the books on my back that sort of forced me to learn or go on my arse. Matt The manual dream, ah, I had that for about 10 years, such a pisser when you realize it's a dream. Mind you I had a pedal kick dream the night before I learned them.
  2. I was about to buy one of these, are they any good apart from that? Can you not just stake the ring a little bit with a punch? Matt
  3. GT 85. Calloused hands they stop hurting after a while, I wouldn't worry about ones on the palms of your hands but it's a bit different if they are on your fingertips, that can't be good, never had that. The most painfull I ever had was on the thick muscley bit at the base of your thumb, turned out it was from shit bars, it went away when I changed them. Matt
  4. The little stepped ones stop your booster from interfering with your v brake arms movement. Matt Ha ha you beat me to it bruce!
  5. Maybe he likes his bike, he can certainly ride it. I started 'Trials' on a 80's BMX funnily enough back in the 80's, I was shit then, and I'm shit now, I just like riding my bikes, doesn't every one? Ryan Leech is a hero, a bit far out maybe, but a hero non the less. People will remember him long after many 'Beast riders' have been long forgotten, not knocking any of them though because they certainly rip. Hans Rey, Matt Hoffman, Tony hawk......... Ryan Leech. Names that will be remembered. Matt
  6. Probably the guy that now goes to other countries to kill people, maybe he desensitizes himself by seeing them all as cats. Matt
  7. Get a grip boy. The guy that posted the bollox about brown nosing was full of it. Why post something so negative, if he knew it was full of brown nosing and cliches why bother reading it and further to that knocking someones confidence to ask questions on this forum by posting smarmy nonsense knocking the guy for having a go. As it goes I think the original post is a bit long winded, cliched and brownosing but that is the guys writing style, I didn't feel compelled to slag him for it. However I did feel compelled to slag the other guy because his comment was just in no way constructive at all and being the first response to the original post may have really put the guy off trying to get advice or using the forum at all. I'll take back the wanker bit though, I have to admit it was a bit much. Matt
  8. Interesting at the moment the mag front and back and disk front and back are identical and disk front mag rear is way up ahead. Matt
  9. Thats not aluminium. Pashley? Matt
  10. Saw this on you tube the other day. The disk is made in segments so if you buckle a segment you just replace that. f**king wank idea if you ask me, but hey ho, it's how we progress. Matt
  11. My mate Noah made that one. Noahs Cock Matt
  12. My Grandads Brother was also In the SAS during WWII My great great Grandad or something like that was ship owner and armaments smuggler supplying the American Rebels with guns 'n' ammo during the war of independence he then changed his name to Stanley and f**ked off to Australia with his ill gotten gains and a death warrant for his treasonous acts, they never caught him This could be total bullshit but that is the family story. Matt Thats proper mental that is. Matt
  13. It's probably light because you could use thinner tubing. Matt
  14. Pichus! From wierd angles! Like taken from inside the asshole of a cow looking out onto a scene from the destruction of the city Armageddon! Matt
  15. Do you find the reaction of the rear disk a bit slow? or is it fine? A daft question I know, because you're obviously happy with it, but I'm interested. Matt Nugget Matt
  16. It may have been done before and I don't give a f**k if it has because time has elapsed since then, so don't bother with any smarmy posts just answer the question you bunch of faggots. Matt
  17. Is it on an aluminum frame? If it is all you need do is get a 6m cap head bolt (one with an alen key head) grind a groove down each side of the thread as shown in the technical drawing below with a dremmel or a triangle shaped file Ram that in, as described for the tapping procedure and viola fixed thread without buying a new tap. Matt Don't use the ground bolt to fix your brake on.
  18.   I loves it! Matt
  19. In what way? Was it because you could buy loads of mars bars with your money? Matt
  20. Actually superglue will only stick without oxygen which is why it only works with thin aplications, you need to squeeze the oxygen out. That is why it doesnt go hard in the bottle. Blah blah blah ....wheres my wig? Matt
