You are right, it did feel a little quantity over quality for me with to much repetition, same move alternative back drop.

The guy clearly has capability on a bike, it is just a shame I feel he uses this to learn show boating rather than some more traditional trials moves to support turning show boating into something of more substance, 3-4 typical trials moves in there which were pretty weak in required capability- on a more positive note, it kept me occupied from work for a few minutes.....
  4. Any riders in Sheffield up for showing me round Thursday? Tempted to bring my bike as I am down for a night for work? Matt
  5. Most enjoyable thing I have seen in years, last clip was awesome, fun to the max!!!

    TM1?

Any chance I can jump on this band wagon and add get1 into the mix, lost my copy and would love if it was uploaded somewhere?
  8. If you aren't running a grind? what pads, I prefer not to run a grind....
  9. OK thanks guys some good info. So what I have made of this is is just get some fairly standard calipers, don't need to be particularly swanky. Any stiffer than any others? I tend to prefer a stiffer feel brake. sd7 levers are fine. Its all about the cable, odyssey slicks seem to be the recommendation. Pads wise odyssey sound like a reasonable bet. Anyone heard much about the onza pads?
  10. I am considering a v brake set up front and rear on my bike. Just wondered what people are running and recommeding, cables, pads, calipers and lever set ups?
  11. It is so enlightening to see people can understand everyone is different! If you don't want to ride in the rain don't ride in it, however don't moan about it, its your choice. Find something to keep yourself busy till you want to. Funnily enough I have noticed in the last ten years of riding that the seasons invariably are the same each year and there is not a lot you can do about it. However on the flip side of it don't have a go at people over the fact they don't want to ride in it. It doesn't make them any lesser a man, it does make them any a lesser lover of the sport it just means they want to ride in nice weather. I am pretty much of this persuasion now a days. 7 years ago I would ride in any condition any time of the day irrelevant of weather. But now a days I don't 'bounce' when I fall off and I can't afford to not work so it makes more sense to wait for the better weather when I am less likely to damage myself. Long and short of it is or the point I am trying to get to in a very long winded way is. We each enjoy this sport for different reasons we each want to do it in different conditions and we each enjoy different aspects of it. We all have one mutual connection and whether you like to do it rain, snow or sun its good by me that you just want to get out on your bike at some point however if you choose not to find something to keep yourself occupied, strip your bike down make it run perfectly ready for when the weather is great, watch some videos for motivation for when it is dry or take up chess!!!
  12. My favorite era of trials, people really had fun riding and in turn created great riding ). I loved it then and I still love it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Throwing your bike is anti-cool........ I'd have to say best intro for me is

  16. Pretty sure there will be a steel street frame available soon...........
  17. Once in our lifetime,,, yes once in our life time will Joe, Joel etc have the chance to do this as if we are averaging hosting once in 50 years I am convinced that they will not be able to perform as they would now at 70 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. TFL ever heard of running a few trains a bit later, they manage to keep the tube open for 24 hours on new years eve for free yet cant accommodate a once in a life time opportunity for a group of trials enthusiasts that would mean the world to be on a stage like that and involved in something that is going to come around once in our lifetime, what a disgrace........
  19. who likes short shorts, we like short shorts....... good riding, but lacks a bit of style........
