It is so enlightening to see people can understand everyone is different! If you don't want to ride in the rain don't ride in it, however don't moan about it, its your choice. Find something to keep yourself busy till you want to. Funnily enough I have noticed in the last ten years of riding that the seasons invariably are the same each year and there is not a lot you can do about it. However on the flip side of it don't have a go at people over the fact they don't want to ride in it. It doesn't make them any lesser a man, it does make them any a lesser lover of the sport it just means they want to ride in nice weather. I am pretty much of this persuasion now a days. 7 years ago I would ride in any condition any time of the day irrelevant of weather. But now a days I don't 'bounce' when I fall off and I can't afford to not work so it makes more sense to wait for the better weather when I am less likely to damage myself.
Long and short of it is or the point I am trying to get to in a very long winded way is. We each enjoy this sport for different reasons we each want to do it in different conditions and we each enjoy different aspects of it. We all have one mutual connection and whether you like to do it rain, snow or sun its good by me that you just want to get out on your bike at some point however if you choose not to find something to keep yourself occupied, strip your bike down make it run perfectly ready for when the weather is great, watch some videos for motivation for when it is dry or take up chess!!!
