  14. Hi guys basically I'll make it short and sweet I am recovering from some broken arms and starting to ride again but all my mates are bmxers and would quite enjoy riding some street with some trials guys. I live in Hoddesdon herts but happy to drive somewhere. Just wondered if anyone is riding anywhere in these counties I can join in with ). Old schooler riders would be cool. More of an old school man than new school but I am up for anything to get out and about............... Cheers Matt
  15. Yeah i guess it is all personal opinion, and mine is I have always had black bikes with black parts and feel i needed some colour in m life haha, so just kept with the red in the planet x sticker and thought I would go with that. Thanks for the comments guys really nice to here people like it ....
  16. No, out of luck where the tensioner pulls into the frame it is tucket under the corner of the dropout so holds it out stiff, it may do once the chain stretches, at the moment it seems tight so until it isn't I'm going to leave as it is...... Hopefully get a video going soon, still building my arm strength back up from last summer fracturing left elbow and dislocating and fracturing right thumb. It has left me with a 20 degree bend in my left arm, once I can straighten my arm a bit better I can get a bit more heavily into my riding and get some footage up.....
  17. Yeah in a ideal world I would have a ck rear hub like I used to, If one day I can afford to put a ck on the rear there will definatly be some burns on the front. but the current set up gives me the best engagement for the cost. Yeah the hoses are the last thing I have done but as I do some park riding on it a bit and really don't want to go through the hassle of re-attaching the blasted goodridge connectors I thought I would run it a little longer just incase of mishaps that I tend to have in parks....... Thanks for the comment.........
  18. I second troy lee xc gloves, I have used them for years in the winters nice and thin good grip, keep some warmth in.......
  19. Just thought I would put up some pictures of my planet x zebdi. I favour the older school bike to newer school so this suits me down to the ground. Spec Planet x Zebdi frame mk 5 Onza tuf guy forks race face stem Deity DH bars Deity lock on grips fsa pig headset trialtech bb with trial tech cranks with eno freewheel dmr v8 pedals mini seat - (only bit left to change to a pivotal proper seat Magura hs33 original with goodridge braided hoses rear Magura hs33 original with goodridge braided hose through streerer front Front d521 on kenda street tyre rear d521 ceramic on dmr hub with maxxis holy roller tyre rear screw on sprocket Half link heavy duty chain gusset or surly cant remember.. Think thats about it, as above the last thing to change would be a proper seat on it..... Matt
  20. Yeah I will have to come check them out again once the weather is nicer, I used to work in basildon about 3-4 years ago and noticed them then and rode a few times......

Yeah it is as sometimes it isnt about how big far or what your doing but the fun you have doing it, I know I am about to go on a mini rant but compared to when I started riding a long time ago I feel a lot of the fun has been lost and its all about how big high far etc you can go, when it used to always be more how much fun can you go out and have on your bike and always should be and always is for me wether you are messing around on a curb or going nuts over a drop gap who really cares if you enjoy it that is the main thing. the one thing I like for in a video is a smile on some ones face and them enjoying it. So to answer your question it is the same guy as it was a laugh I am guessing for him to sidehop into a truck and this is what he also enjoys doing most of the time.........
  22. Find an old d521 ) was the best rim 9 years ago, and I havnt still broken one beyond repair to this day......
  23. OK kool thanks for that advice I am just mocking up a stencil to make the dots really even as I don't want the braking to be unbalanced...
  24. HI, just a quick question, anyone sprayed there rims a different colour than orginal and what would the effect be braking wise, None? would it just strip the paint eventually or make the braking worse in any way? Matt
