  1. I should be there with someone I think. Haven't been to oxford before so should be interesting. Nice bike Adam, looks like a beast ! What does it ride like?
  2. Nice riding, big side hops and stuff. Crazy 360 in the park. And the ashton Right nobody buy an ashton frame, there crap! I'm ordering mine tomorrow lol
  3. "because trials has only been around for a rough decade, we don't have anybody who has retired from trials after a long youth of doing it. so we don't know how it may effect us by the time we're 50" Thats what worry's me. In fact extreme sports in general haven't really been around long enough for the long term effects to examined.
  4. Yea I thought I was the only one worried about what physical effect trials is having on my body but it seems like I'm not alone which makes me even more worried. I used to hit my shins quite often when I first started but as Danny said you just learn to stay on the pedals and as a result I haven't hit them in a while. Still wear shins pads though because it fooking hurts when you do get a pedal in your leg! Just recently I've been riding more often and have started getting wrist and lower back pains which is concerning. Mainly the back pains as I dont know whats causing them. Also find when I go out and ride after a 2 week or so break I get cramps in my lower leg behind the shin. Some times after a ride I wake up in the middle of the night and the pain is excruisiating Think thats probably becuase I never do any exercises to warm up. I wonder how trials effects your chances of getting arthritis (sp) Oh well time will tell
  5. Gap from the station platform to the railway line Naughty !!! good vid. Really liked the music, I thought it went well with the riding and editing which were both very impressive Keep it up man!
  6. yea if the quality was better it would have been very good. But not bad attept there. Keep filming though

    Braunschweig Vid

He is a very tallented rider. The ability to go big and yet do it in style makes for a very enjoyable vid, though some clips seemed to be very similar to each other towards the end making the vid become a little bit dull after seeing the first minute or so of insane riding! Gonna be keeping an eye out for his next vid !
  8. That first clip when he slpped off the rail he hit the ground like he'd just fallen out an airoplane lol supprised that he was laughing straight away after aswell. Loving the 180 turn on the rail, that was impressive Sweet vid wish it could have been longer than 2:09 though!

  12. wooooooooooooooooooooooooow That was amazing steve. I never thought that you had filmed as much as you did. The editing was very impressive and you seem to have loads of fresh ideas, camera angles (lol) and stuff. Please make some more like that

    Ben Cox Vid

You should invest in a tripod because the shaky camera man/woman didn't do you any favours! Perhaps some music would have made the vid easier to watch aswell. However you look like you have improved quite a bit since your last vid so well done Should be wearing a bloody lid though !
  14. I say bike looks best with red tyre! Infact, get one to match the front like I did. Nice bike anyway, what length is it and how does it ride? I'm looking at buying one.
  15. I'm selling my woodstock frame if your interested. £180 few scratches with no dents. pm me if your intersted.
  16. simpsons been around for years and there are some absolute classic episodes. Not sure about family guy, only seen it a few times and didn't really get into it.
  17. You cant prevent it from skipping totally. But as long as you use a good quality hub/freewheel and have it serviced often, then it should reduce the chances of it happening. A lot of hubs skip during the bedding in process, hence the reason that people recomend doing a few miles of normal riding to prevent damage to the hub and lesson the chances of injury if it does skip.
  18. Ace vid Really good riding, and editing seemed to be well done me thinks. Music went well I thought to. More vids like thats one please
  19. I thought the quality of the vid was poor. I didn't like the music or camera angles either. However, riding looked pretty good
  20. Steve would need to put his bike in the car every time he rides, so a mini even with a roof rack would still be impractical compared to a car like a fiesta where you can just fold the seats down, remove front wheel from bike and then chuck it in the back! And yes I am well aware thats french's cars and the likes of are mostly shit but its not like mini's are the height of luxury and build quality either.
  21. Steve I wouldn't get a mini if I were you. If you were looking for a car to just get you around in then it would be fine, but knowing that you ride trials then you will want to put your bike in the car at some point. And the bike just isn't going to fit in a mini. Atleast not without removing front and rear wheels. Save you self the hassle and get something that is practical and a bit more modern. I mean the last thing you wana be doing on a cold winters night after a long ride is striping your bike down and trying to cram it into a fecking mini! If you have a budget of £2000 max then thats more than enough to get a cheap run around. Something along the lines of 106, saxo, Fiesta or something like that would be a better bet I would say. Good luck anyway
  22. Mate I know exactly how you feel! I brought an 05 team back in July and had the same problem. I couldn't get the brake cylinders to clamp properly. Every time I tried tightening the bolts the clamps only pinched up a little bit and not enough to hold it tight. So after a lot of pissing around trying to make it work I phoned up Select and they sent me some new mounts and bolts free of charge. That still didn't fix it so now I have got a couple of metal washers on top of the mounts to prevent the bolts from reaching the bottom of the thread on the frame. Works fine now, but I expected better from a top company like echo!
  23. I remember seeing that clip of the marshal getting run over by the formula one car about 2 years ago and it was the most disturbing thing I had ever seen. The way his body just looked like it was made of jelly Sickening vid there, not one I want to watch to offen but it just shows the harsh reality of extreme sports, motor racing and the likes of.
