This! as above if your friends have had there freewheel's for that long they most likely have the same model that lasted me a year too. The same model most of my friends are still riding with no problem's. I managed to get a free hub so I'm going down that route for a while. I know that dose not just mean I've excluded all problems but I know I can service it very easily. It seem's with the amount of problems and people's advice all the freewheel's have different problem's. I hope echo manage to revert back to the first 108 models or upgrade to something else I might be tempted to move back but for now I am happy. Just out of curiosity has anyone rode the new viz freewheel?

That's a stock stem with the back sweep of my handlebars actually sweeping back not down with the kid's I'm afraid

My hex as it stands today, Full spec, It's mostly black and blue with some white and silver (I think that has covered everything)

If your a up and coming rider that shops might look at as a potential rider your not going to be in Green for long. You should concentrate on your riding rather than making a name for yourself

Add Danny Garland to facebook he is a local and will enjoy riding with someone near him especially during summer. He is a really nice lad too As for Frazer's comment Leeds is always a good ride some head over our way and I'm sure when the weather picks up we will be over in York at some point

I don't mean to start any arguments please don't take my replies to heart, I understand more engagements are better my point was if its not a long lasting freewheel just because it has more engagements that isnt always a good thing. I also stated in previous replys to this thread having more engagements isn't going to improve anyone's riding. I have noted your bad rep about the tensile though as well as other people over Facebook. I'm going to look into trying out a hope but in the meantime I will have a go with a tensile

Mine came off a bmx so it was pretty well bedded in a serviced if that's what your leading towards. the guy who broke his Jaw had an iso I think its called? and one of the riders today has a very well looked after classic and that was skipping today..........

I broke my wrist, Elbow and had stitches because Chris kings are shit, I witnessed a rider brake his Jaw and have a head brace on for 2 months because Chris kings are shit and the riders I see near me who still ride them all skip's. Mixed options are cool but I did ask for freewheel advice, I can't see why a Echo is better if there not reliable

How do you mean Flushed out? I presumed it was my riding I have bedded in all my freewheels correctly and I presumed it was just my riding style but its not just me. I am not that bothered about the engagement points its not going to improve my riding hopes have 48 engagement points.....

He sent me a detailed picture and a drawing that looked like he had made it on Paint of what my frame will look like before he stopped emailing me, Did he not do that with you Dave? I'm getting exited now those frames look pretty cool from what I can see

I got a Echo sl freewheel about 2 years back now the silver ones that lasted me a year. Since I replaced that I must of had about 5-6 of the black sl ones they just don't seem to be as good (For some reason) I want something that I can just stick on my bike and not have to worry about having to replace it after a couple of months. What's the tensile 60 click like against the Echo one?

I wondered how much was possible without brakes until flipp moved up to Leeds for a short while and pretty much did everything we asked/suggested (even the silly things) He can up to front footjam which is pretty insane/unreal on wall's alot of riders can't up to front normally
