  1. I see what you mean. I'll see what I can do. I won't probably do these holes you know. SO it looks more like that: I'll make a visual of yours now. Hopefully, I am not plasma cutting it. (How could I be?) Ok Adam, thanks a lot.
  2. Just shipping honestly. I don't do it to earn some money man. Steel deffinetly but I don't know which one yet... Bracing? What do you mean? This is another project I have in mind. I would cover it with carbon fiber to make it more resistant. Alone, this rim is 382 grams. With carbon, it would be like 500 grams maximum!
  3. Yes I thought of that. I am only doing it as a simple prototype though. I'd like to keep the geometry simple for the program first! Also I'd like to keep the outer edges quite wide so they resist better to shocks. I I just use the shape of the outer edges, I'll have to change the geometry in the part. That means more lines in the Plasma cutter machine program, and more mistakes that can be done.
  4. Would you like one? I could make it of course!
  5. I have now finished designing it on CATIA. Here is a pic. I'll have it tomorrow if everything goes well. Tell me what you all think!

  7. Are you keeping your rear rim as smooth mate? Tell me if these pads do work on smooth rim please.
  8. Nothing is sure though as I would have to pay the bike. I'd rather have a second hand cheap bike.
  9. I am one meter 80,centimeters. I am currently discussing a deal with my sponsor so I am going to have both.
  10. Yes so I'll stick to stock then...
  11. None of my friends owns a mod bike... Yeah this is one of the things I am most frightened of actually. As you're lower on a mod, things look bigger so it's harder to get big... This really helps me now. I am still a bit confused but I'll try to forget this!
  12. SO I shouldn't skip to mod then? I should just stick with stock? Other advices or views could be interesting though...
  13. Yes this is something I might like, throwing the bike around more sounds more dynamic and then more the way I like to ride. I thought mods always did the sidehops directly to both wheels! I guess I was wrong then. Other advices welcome!
  14. Hello everyone. I have been riding stock for now quite a long time, and recently I have been more and more interested by mod. I am 1,80 meter, I ride both street and natural and I can't have a mod and stock bike. I here ask your help so I can decide what I'll ride. One of my friend says I mostly use mod techniques such as sidehop directly landed on two wheels instead of using the front one to help, I also do loads of bunny-hops where I can just tap. I really don't know what to do or what to say so you can help me decide, so just ask questions, and I'll answer. I would like both positive and negative points for mod and stock too! Please help!
  15. Nearly the best rear rim I have ever had, lighter than most others, nice looking although larger holes would have looked nicer, and holds a grind nearly as good as the first generation single wall rockman rim I have had.
  16. Thanks a lot! I'll have a search to see how it works.
  17. Does anybody know what system BMX riders use so they can go backwards without having to pedal?
  18. People shouldn't even ask that anymore. Coust pads! End of story!
  19. Nah it's alrigh, I just need an example!
  20. 7,15g for both then. I wasn't that far, I didn't had the volumique mass of the nipples. Thanks forteh!
