Have done. All the pawls are where they should be. springs are good. Pawls engaging at the right time. This is why im confused.

Free wheel is semi locking in one place when turning the back wheel. If you pedal backwords you can turn the wheel when you lift it off the ground. I know that there is a tight spot in most freewheels but the chain is'nt tight enough for that to be a problem. Any advice?

Take the crank off, Pair of needle nose pliers, should be 2 wee holes in the lock ring and turn clock wise. If not a small alan key could fit.

Lock ring tight?
