I'm gona try and figure a way to get to Porthcrawl on Friday or Saturday (Y) weathers looking good so I may have to leave Devon for a ride for the fourth time in 2 months :P .... (Y) matt

I like it hot and I mean hot :P Been riding on the moors today at 31'c with a light breeze, thats the life. I love it when your sweating your nuts of really refreshes me (Y) I also like the pouring ran, means I can really concentrate on my techniques rather that trying to go big. I think my weather choices maybe a little odd but hey I like it (Y)

Everyone who can on the last ride on Dartmoor I think would agree it was one hell of a day and everyone had a good laugh :D So I would like to organise another ride :-" I have a few different places lined up that should be fun and there will be the BBQ aswell just to get us in that chilled out summer mood (Y) So basically this is a thread to put your name down if your intrstead in coming :P The nearest trainstation is Newton Abbot and we can organise a van or mini bus to pick up a load of lads from there if there's enough coming from a far. No date yet but i'm sure we can come to some agreement on that in the next few days. Mr Porter you have to come this time ;) Oh and Fatmike you need to make an apearence again along with Tic and Wheeler (Y) happy riding matt

Around the 1000 mark so pretty short but thats what trials used to be (Y) my mate still rides hid Identiti for trials and thats got a wheelbase of 998 so it's uber short :P I always hit my feet on the front wheel with it. matt

If it ends up being anything like "Dogtown and Z-Boys." it will be ace (Y) I love that film it really makes me wish I had done skateboarding back then when it was a brand new thing. Anyone watched ''On Any Sunday'' ?? some pretty funny old skool motorbike and BMX stuff in that to. matt

I thought it was just a blue XTP??? Some crazy sections there a vid of that trial would be great! Welldone to all the Uk riders :shifty:
-
Tioga rims are 32mm aswell arn't they?? :shifty: You see alot of those in modern frames so would have thought it would fit :P Sunn Doublewide :rip:"
-
Go for a stem first if your not liking the hight of the bars :shifty: As said above the Zoo stem would be a good choice.

I would very much like to see trials in the Olympics but I can't see it happening in 2012 :P I did see one thing that was intrsting though, every country that holds the Olypics can enter 8 minorty sports that have never been in it before to try and introduce them for future years. Thats how DH BMX has got into the German Olympics :shifty: There is still hope yet :rip:"
-
Oh please we don't need another Mr Monkey we are just about bearing him :P One thing I have noticed latley is the increasing wheel bases of Mods, its just progression I surpose :shifty:
-
I quite like that, it's simply but still does the job :shifty: It's good to see so many companys in trials know, I really think we're in the verge of a big boom in our sport and i'm starting to get a little excited :P

Joining the Police is a far more secure job but then there's the risk factor If I had to make a choice i'd go for Police but I here the paperwork side of the job is getting a bit stupid :shifty:

Sounded bloddy fun :P Wish I could go but had a comp to organise for the sunday. Don't get the irish tent thing :shifty: By the sounds of it Porter is bit of a rebel, reading that i'm surprised anymore :rip: Get some vids up!!!
-
This certainly does sound intresting :shifty:" It's hell of a long way but I really want to enter a UCI comp and i'm not good enough to go abroad yet. Is there a trian station near by? Maybe someone in the southwest that would split the driving and fuel costs with me? matt

Nah Leech is far more stylish and cool :P Vid looks promosing and i'm sure Mr Leech could teach us all a thing or two :rip:
-
Sounds good Barbara :shifty: good see that not everyone is riding on one day. I shall be up on Thursday and will be observing Saturday, oh and riding on Sunday :"> 100 for me!

Nice one Ali (N) the fun begins here I'll PM you my dads numbers he owns a trials bike shop that specialises in old Twinshockers I know he'll have all the bits that you'll need and he's always happy to give advise :P matt
-
Ali a Ty 175 would be a brillient bike to learn on they're pretty darn solid and spairs can be bought easily (Y) You may also want to look at getting a Fantic 240 (actually roughly 175cc) this bike is the same age as the Ty but they are much lighter and more movable (Y) But your deffinatly going down the right track with starting on a twinshock as it's just plain cheap fun! matt

I presumed it was for the extremely bad language he was emitting on section 6 after getting the five that he shouldn't have got?? You were there Phil you heard him :S I know it wasn't a five but both Danny and his dad were shouting and swearing at the observer and that is an automatic 10 is it not? Regardless of the situation. Also found this on the Biketials UK site which clearly says the closing date is the 18th of May and not the 5th of July. It also said this on my entry form for Round 1 of the world champs
