  1. I like it Rich :$ but then I have also spent to much time with Andrew like you! Can we get on and film me on the Beta, i'm going to explode if I don't soon. Went out for a ride in Newton about 2am which was fun although didn't try anything over 5ft, I need a portable kicker!?
  2. Rathmalls got them in now has he? OR.. is your's from the factory? Get some pictures up Sam/Ian
  3. I haven't written any report for a paper
  4. I ran the first one for a few months a couple years ago and thought it was great, that was until I ran a proper hope trial rotor which was far better. Not sure on the second but I really would go for something that was designed for trials.
  5. I've started to make a video although most of it is street, man made stuff so it's hard to compair it to natural terrain. I've found that I can hop and move the bike around far easyer than riders who finish much high than myself in nationals, they're still better than me though Can now do 180degree stoppies
  6. The polishing was bit of a mission and unfortunaly once i'd started I had to finish it. It's maybe not that practical but I did it for the show and it only had to look good for those two days, although after 4 days riding it's still pretty good. Not sure if the pads are avalible yet but if they are you can get them from Apico they are the UK Jitsie importers and can get stuff pretty quick.
  7. Why can't you accept that it's a factory spec carb Anyway it does get a lot of use and doesn't look quite as shiney now as it did then.
  8. yes with factory internals! Even the Brown uses the Mikuni it's not a bad carb people just can't set them up.
  9. Right all the alloy has been polished including rims, spokes, swingarm, clutch cover (left side), and water pump. This took me best part of two weeks every evening. Plastics I sprayed a kind of gunmetal grafite colour that I made and also the hubs, brakes, foot peg hangers and the bottem yoke are the same colour. It has a one off flywheel cover (right side) the originals are plastic so I thought it would be nice to get a hefty alloy one made. The engine has quite a few factory parts on it including high compresion head, new piston, clutch, carb which is quite a lot different to standed and a full factory exhaust system which is light and helps the engine breath a lot better. Got some lovely stuff from America from a company called V-Mar they sent me a billiet top yoke, rear sproket, front mud guard risers, snail cams and a wicked nylon chain tension pad (you can only get rubber ones in the UK and they tend to wear fast) I've got some uprated brake pads from Jitsie which have just come out and are nuts almost went over the bars after i'd beded them in!! Also a full set of lever play and adjustment bits from Jitsie which menas I dont need any tools to adjust the brakes (bit like billiet TPAs) Some great ghost nylon coated footpegs which I blagged off Trialscast on Friday at Hawkstone as we were setting up our stand. Cheers to you guys will be in touch shortly. The front frame spars (downtubes) have been machenied lighter, they don't normally have the three holes in them. I've been testing these for a bit now and they seem to be holding up to my abuse so we'll be putting them into production soon hopefully along with the flywheel covers. The rear silencer guard is a custom full carbon fiber joby, normally they have three holes in them but this one is solid. Got a factory Domino throttle which is alloy instead on plastic and so is much more durable and gives a smoother throttle feel. Renthal soft grips which and very comfy. Carbon fiber number board which is a bit pimp. Tryall bars which look smart but I think i'll be changing to Renthal Fatbars soon as they seem to flex a bit on heavey decents which isn't to inspiring. Lightened gear, front mudguard bracket and brake lever. Factory carbon tank cover Heavy duty rear shock mudflap Also the suspension internals have had a few mods which so far seem to be performing better than I thought but can't reveal these yet Thats about it really there are a lot more tiny thing that i've done like some nicer alloy brackets and a bit more carbon but most of you wouldn't care :$ Hope you like. Matt Oh and yes thats my Monty in the back ground for sale £850 if anyones intrestead. Yep it is :$ people took great pleasure in pointing that out to me at the show! 'yeah nice bike mate but you can't spell fliers!'
  10. Ha yes very nice! Which one were you on the Trialcast stand then as there seemed to be loads of you! Cheers although 07 don't actually look anything like this one, they're actually red. Shercos are ok to ride, to maintain not so nice.
  11. Few pictures of my bike at Hawkstone, finished about 24hours before it went on show which was stressful. I'll get a full spec up once i've finished writing it but to give some motorbike boys a hint the word 'factory' springs to mind.
  12. OAS Motorcycles, Black tent with red banners. Yeah your allowed, a mate and myself did a bit of an unofficial demo on section 15 next to podium and everyone seemed to love it. Thats the main reason an official demo is on this year.
  13. These arn't to bad though, I had one for a couple years and all that happened was the gell coat looked a little scratched. # Think you'll be lucky to get a new one though as i'm sure Joe sold everything.
  14. Dan and Ben are also riding, also Joe Seddon, I think the Olivers, my little brother Jonty and maybe one more. It's a demo to show all ages and abilities. I'll be there with both motorbike and bicycle, my dads running a stand this year in the trade village so come round and say hi! (I'm sure i'll be stuck there allday sat and sun ) Also if your there don't forget to look at my Beta!!! Will be on the stand. Joe Rothwell do you know what you get extra with the VIP pass as we also have a few but wasn't to sure what it was for other than maybe the riders paddock?
  15. Who's been up late and got the book then? My mum and two of my brothers have just got back. Sounded pretty busy and we don't even live in that large a populated area. Crazy when you see that almost all the major sellers of the book are doing so at a loss just to bring in the customers. Just have to wait a week to steal it off the fist one to finish.
  16. I say make it harder to pass and get the nuts off the road that would solve the problem but they'll never do it as it will cost them more money! Yet again the people being screwed over by the goverment. I still don't understand why we have a primeminister that we havent voted for!! Should have been an election after Mr Blair left.
  17. Take the trials bike and head about 3 miles up the road to West Bay which is a great place for both street and natural.
  18. At the top of the page. Also when you go on his myspace check out the boxx. He's been doing some more lightening!!! HEADTUBE!! crazy man. He must have faith in Despro Racing.
  19. Make that degura! and tryall front tyre and forks. Odd!?
  20. Sorry but you can't beat the mighty snail, compact easily setup and lightweight. Just file some groves into them if they're smooth but not to big.
  21. Ok so you may think it's 'gay' and the leg shaving is maybe a bit to far but has anyone watched it at all this year? I'm really getting into it and especially after Bradley Wiggins ride today which impressed me a lot. Anyone on here do much road racing compeating? How easy is it to get into competitions? Matt
