  1. I wouldnt use a 666 for street trials it will be too heavy, too low and will make it harder to learn on. You would be better off with a inspired fourplay, heatsink 24uk or a marino custom frame. Would make it so so much easier for you! But its up to you bud! Its your choice mate, happy hunting!
  2. On my stock i run twin discs, shimano deore rear disc circa 2001! Up front a halfords hydraulic disc up front. Its not the last word in ultimate braking but they work well enough the rear locks and holds me up for my attempts at back hopping and the front has more than enough power. And for my inspired i have just ordered from crc a full xt brake set. Rear v-brake and lever with a oddessey super slick cable and possible a set of heatsink snowies, Which i have yet to order. And a xt disc up front with 203mm rotor. And thats what im sticking with!
  3. Jack johnson is good for the wind down i find on the way to the pub in the car with the boys! Imo, cypress hill is good to ride to also forgot them! Remanufacture by fear factory is a good album its kinda metal/techno slightly strange! Pin the tail on the honkey by Dislocated styles is good its metal/hiphop
  4. For me it sounds a bit strange but i will listen to music from different riding films, for example fear factory (the two from third down) queens of the stone age (from heaven and hell the second coming) pendulum and roni size (from trials is dead) or if i dont fancy them i will listen to stone sour, slipknot, killswitch engage, il nino, lamb of god all that remains, soul fly, millencolin, papa roach, iron maiden, metallica, trivium, in flames and when i wind down on my ride home its good old jack johnson, 3 doors down and some more mellow stuff. Also i like to ride to drum and bass anything like skiba, dj hype, shy fx. But i have to say that my all time fave riding tune has to be come clean by eleventeen.
  5. You wont go wrong with the woodstock its a good solid frame thats more than capable of street and tgs aswell. And knowing cetfly he's probably giving you a good deal on it!
  6. i have been trying to do em for years and still cant do it! Lol
  7. Yeah its a really old trick! I belive it originated from bmx flatlanding in the 80's looks cool as but proper doddgy though as all your weight over the front and then release ur front brake scuff the front then back on the brake. The amount of times ive gone over smacked my knackers on the stem then face planted and what makes it worse is i still cant do it! Lol
  8. If were being serious for a second, 360 endo to switzerland squeeker to bunnyhop tailwhip then manual away to barspin to untangle your brake hoses! Pretty much a danny mac!
  9. a set of onza t-pro cranks about 40 to 50 quid look pretty beefy just make sure u keep the crank bolts done up tight as they are square tapered.
  10. yeah if it looked good, and was well made and not just based on the current crop of long, low and silver but just with a seat tube and saddle. Has to be designed from the ground up nice 'street' geo lovely and short and flicky, give it some nice features on it, style it sleek and mean, just like the latest street hardtails.
  11. Dmr revolver hub, eno freewheel middleburns with 22 tooth bashring and chainring perfect set up. Imo anyway
  12. I think the revolver runs gears on his inspired. Im thinkin of doin it too as ill have to ride it to work and runnin single speed will drive me insane!
  13. I built mine for less than 300 notes so it doesnt have to be massively expensive. Just look around a bit dont just jump at the 1st bike u see.
  14. I couldnt agree more mate i think the 26 inch scene could do with a street trials bike, as a few people arent to sure about the swap to 24inch so i think i would fill a gap in the market. Im going over to 24 inch because of this and also im not the strongest and most agile person in the world so a smaller and more manageable (but not lighter) 24 inch inspired would be better for me. But the world needs a stock street bike i think. (mind you the onza spyragyra looks pretty streety for a stock bike!)
  15. I would go for 26 inch if i was u mate will feel more comfortable for u comin from a mtb
  16. The onza bike do look like good value the components are pretty good i have used onza kit before and never had a problem. I would also agree the 26" would be better for a mtb convert, the onza spyra gyra looks pretty fit to me dunno about anyone else?
  17. Yeah there pretty good to order from, fairly quick to deliver too!
  18. It sounds pretty much perfect mate just change the tyres to maxxis holyrollers and then its perfect, its exactly what i would have if i could afford it LOL
  19. im very intregued about that statement! What do u mean like shaping the tubing or colour?
  20. They sure are pretty! I wish i had one!
  21. Going back to the original question, how about a free 500ml can of danny mac's riding talent! lol! the only problem i can see the eccentric wheel adjustment is that it raises the rear ride height therefore effectively lowering the front and from what i can gather from other riders comments these frames dont ride well with low front ends.
  22. Obviously as your sponsored by marino you have to be careful of what u say but whats the quality like? How do they stand up to trials abuse
  23. I'll second that! Adam must have patience of a saint after some of the silly s **t i have asked him via email
  24. Thats one of the things i like about the marino frames simple clean uncluttered looks! Just like the old pashleys! So mr marino could pretty much make a frame look like what ever u want then? Within reason obviously!
  25. Danny manuals his inspired like a machine!!! But if u have a shorter back end it makes a bike less stable when u do go to back wheel?
