Well since cetfly has bought the last fourplay in the country and tarty wont have any till august! Im rideless as i just gave my saracen to my missus Doh! But the extra time will allow me to get a better collection of parts for my build so every cloud has a silver lining and all that. So i should have a spanker of a fourplay for the coast to coast road trip!

Maxxis holy rollers, probably the best tyre i have ever used no joke! Grippy, light(ish) never got a single flatty either, im probably Gunna put them on my bike. Or crazy bobs.

I have never seen it! Im impressed with the trials sections in chainspotting considering the martins were on 18" hardtails!

Im gettin a bit fed up with waiting for it! U would of thought that they would be pushing to get them out there cuz the 24" scene is gettin big and inspired have pretty much got it to themselves at the moment even more so that u cant get hold of the 24uk either! Um i think new levers are about 80 quid and bout 50 quid each v-brake so it depends on how old they are man? But v-brakes seem to be the weapon of choice for street riders along with a good set of pads like phat pads or heatsink cnc's that would be a good set up

That bike is gorgeous man! I love the ashton frames! Looks nice in red with the white forks and seat! I dont think that m4's are over kill! Didnt Adam Burns use a m4 on his planet-x in leaps and bounds? Whats the geo of the justice? Quite fancy one of them myself!

If i were u mate i would get a base ta26 and a set of rigids the base is trials specific but u can also use it for dirt and street! As i think the bottom bracket would be too low on the p3 as it is on my saracen which is a converted jump bike... As for head sets and bb's it all depends on budget! Fsa and truvativ make good bottom brackets and headsets hope, fsa, chris king are good quality kit. A smaller set up on the front would be ideal for trials (ie middleburn rs7 trials) and if u want to run gears go with a short cage mech and a close ratio cassette will do the job.

Anyway mate that flip paint is about 400 quid a litre! I think u should maybe go for some thing a little different! Maybe pearlecent gold or maybe metallic aztec bronze or subaru blue would look gorgeous especially with gold bits! But at the end of the day your choice buddy! Looks like its made of bendy straws! Lol! I think they look awesome i would have one! I dont know how people can say they look shit if it had koxx, zoo or echo on the side of it they would be creaming over it! But i guess individuality isnt for every one

I remember him being one of the up and coming riders of the day but i left the mountain biking scene, and i never got to see how he became such a big name in the sport. Its always a massive shame when such a talented life is taken that way. He will always be remembered by those who mattered most... His friends, family and the trials community. If its just a dent man i wouldnt worry about it! I dented scratched and scuffed the hell out of my mongoose for years it makes no difference to the strength. If u have actually bent the frame maybe go talk to a engineering firm they could maybe straighten it!

They are really nice frames i love the look of them! Im more of a 24" man myself but i do like the holroyd hope it rides well have fun man

I remember seeing edd tongue's mhz the blue one with the union jack flames around the head tube running silver maggies and el gato tires! I think that was the 1st bike i fell in love with lol!

I never rode a planet x zebedi but they did look the nutz! The old pashley mhz was my dream bike back in the day!

While i was stuck at home today (off work sick) i thought i would cheer myself up and watch some of my old bike videos like evolve, tricks and stunts, chainspotting, sprung 3+4 and i came over all nostalgic for the old trials bikes! Lol so i thought i would start up a thread bout the old bikes and riders of the past! Any of you guys ride the old skool giants, cannondales, megamos, Brisas, cresents ect.

If its the one with the square section down tube, its an old skool design circa 2001/2002 and i remember they were very popular! Its a good frame to get used to as its not too dissimilar to a mountain bike frame geometry at least! Its a good start though and fun to ride!
