You reckon deity bars are good? I never heard of them before to be honest! But ill have a look at em' i do really like those chequered azonics they look awesome! As for the echo i think its bout 18 quid more than a maggy but i just really liked the look of them! Lol cheers for the advice mate.

Does anyone have any useful info on the echo tr hydraulic rim brake? They good? Also what are koxx rage bars like?
-
Bike is lookin very nice my friend! I think i will have to get the blue one when my money comes through! Only thing i would change is the forks personally white forks look best on the blue frame, but thats me being picky! The maxxis holyrollers are awesome tyres wont go wrong with them! Im Gunna give the schwalbe crazy bobs a go on mine! Just out of interest what shimano brake you using and whats it like? Any way have fun on it and ride it hard!

By the looks of it in the photos it a heavy tools frame. Which if my memory serves me it was designed by petr kraus! My local bike shop used to have one, they were built like tanks!

If its close to et i would love 2 get hold of one! Everyone reckons the geo on the et was pretty much perfect! Its just a waiting game now to see when they'll be released so eyes peeled and fingers crossed!

You didnt say about budget, price no object xtr vbrake with heatsink pads or phatpads with xtr lever. Or avid ultimates. Avid sd7 brakes are good with a good pad set up as for grinds im not sure about grinds on the front.
-
Yeah right! I so want one! Just gotta wait, i got a load of money saved up for a 24" frame i wanna find out the geo of it.

Was just a thought man im not really a weight obsessive im a street rider so stronger is more important than weight for me! But i did forget about the adapters! I guess u could save a few grams drilling out the 4 bolt mounts on your maguras? Also cut your bars down would save more weight too!
-
If you guys want lighter bikes try using avid ultimate v brakes. They weigh bout 128 grams a pair then u can get the matching levers and drill them out, you could drill out your bashring, use carbon headset stackers, use xc stems, drill the rim sidewalls, drill out the front clamp on the stem. Just a few ideas i thought of after reading this thread. If you guys want lighter bikes try using avid ultimate v brakes. With the steel marino it would be heavier BUT the ride will be more forgiving because of flex in the material, hence why jump bikes are steel. The alloy gu le will be really stiff and good to put the power down but give a harsher ride to it personally i think the gu might be better over all,

From what i have read into this idea is that the disc mount facing forward is that it puts less stress on the welds, despite that it would appear to do the opposite! If you look at moto trials bikes all the front disc mounts face forward and they are put under far more stress and load and they appear solid.

Were Is Your Favorite Place To Ride

I live in Andover and there's a couple of good spots around town. Southhampton has some good places if u know where to look! Hengelsbury head has some awesome natural trials along the coast! I used to ride Newbury but that gets boring cuz of the amount of security guards! You didnt say where u ride man? -
Sorry to go back to frame geo but whats the seat tube angle on an inspired fourplay? Ive been looking at the marino bike builds on the bike pictures section and i must admit the quality of them looks really good! Im a qualified welder and to my eye the look good, clean and strong, im tempted by one of their custom builds now! (i know i said i would get an inspired!) whats peoples experiences with them?
-
cheers bud, that answers that question! I doubt he will get a profile now he spunked most of his budget on a 700 quid frame! ouch.
-
Yeah i know the inspired's a 135mm rear spacing! Wanted to know for a curtis sx 24 my mate is building up.
-
Quick question whats the rear hub spacing on a bmx? And whats a good rear bmx hub? Quick question whats the rear hub spacing on a bmx? And whats a good rear bmx hub?

I might have to give it a go would it be ok to use a water bleed with a braided hose do u reckon?
-
But surely a water bleed cant be good for the magura internals like the seals and pistons and wont it leak because water is thinner than oil?
-
does fluid really make that much difference? And whats a water bleed? Or am i just being thick?

The one in the second link is what i had and it took a huge amount of abuse, even accidently using it as landing gear didnt kill it. So i would suggest that one
