  1. Oh, and I also got 2 titanium plates put into my forehead preventing it from cracking open again EDIT: And blocking the path-way there was to my brain preventing me from getting meningitus.
  2. If you're not worried about looks, then get a Zona Zip mate. They're the longest mod out there but like I said at the start, they're fugly.
  3. Would of been nice to see some more front wheel stuff, but was an awesome video none the less . And I'm going to go against what other people have said, because I think you ride huge, but are very very smooth.
  4. What about Selectbikes? Ordered from them a few times. Their service isn't up to Tarty's standard but it was pretty quick and the packaging protected my forks and rim very well.

  6. Was at a skatpark (The big quarter pipe at Denmead to be specific). Was simply practising my airs, managed to get 2 1/2 ft, which isn't bad for me. Then suddenly I must of just lost all concentration because on the come down from the air, me and my bike just completely missed the landing. I went straight off the side and nosedived ...well it must of been around 8ft, straight onto tarmac, and straight onto my face.
  7. I have the up most respect for this man. He can be an inspiration to not just all trials riders, but all bicycle riders around the world.
  8. Hehe , and no mate, they were just ..I don't know, a safety precaution that they took after the operation. I had them out after about 4 days and then all I had, and still have now is a little bit of a raised pink scar going from ear to ear.
  9. Well, not trials related but this is what I managed falling off my bmx in February this year: 1st day in hospital A couple of days later 3 weeks of so later after my operation Broke my nose, jaw, 2 cheek bones, the little ring in the back of my neck at the very tip of my spinal cord, and then there was my forehead. Which I completely smashed to bits, (was the reason for the operation). Hope you like
  10. As you say you have some 'neat' bmx tricks up your sleave, then start with a mod mate. Get the Rip, it's a decent starter bike and i'm sure after a month or so you'll feel pretty comfortable on it. But the main reason I say get the Rip, is because the Tekiya .. well it's made by Diamondback my friend. They probably weigh twice as much as your bmx, and the length of them is extremely long! You would have to be at least 6' 5" to ride it comfortably
  11. No, not really. You did pretty much all the same moves in the same places that you had in your last vid. I can see that you're style is slowly improving, but yeah, don't let the brake off that early or one day you are going to face plant something. Hard! And last thing, please don't show EVERY SINGLE f**kING CLIP in slow-mo, it really makes people want to turn off the video and watch someone who doesn't show all the moves he fails aswell as land (Like Jack Chinnery for example ) James.
  12. Going back to what Vince said, yes that is quite true, about the standing up most of the time part. But having a seat isn't a bad idea, especially as you're looking at a P1 which is 26", because most trials bikes with seats you will find are either 26, or 24". I only know of a couple mods that have seats, and then not really worth looking at. And also, you say you want a bike with suspension. This would be called XC riding, not trials, (I think ..). Have a look at some video's of Ryan Leech. He rides a 26" with a seat and suspension forks. I can't really help you anymore with choosing a bike though because you say you don't want to order from abroad.
  13. That T-Pro looked alright from my quick glance it mate. Don't change your mind anymore from what other people say, you can make your own mind up And 1 tip, as soon as you get the bike, change the tyres ASAP.
  14. Looks nicer without the paintjob Should've kept the forks silver.
  15. High Contrast - Kiss Kiss Bang Bang Youtube Video -> Original Video
  16. Sorry to sound really nerdy, but you're on about The Deadmines right? Van Cleef is the last dude in that instance ..he's the main boss and you have to get all the way through to get to him
  17. Hey there Bobby, I live in the Portsmouth area myself. In a town called Horndean about 20 minutes drive away, do you know it? Add my msn if you like (Jamesshrrtt@Yahoo.co.uk, Could maybe ride sometime as I have been riding trials for around 5 months aswell.
  18. http://www.wow-europe.com Have a read about it You'll realise how sad it is, but you have to actually play it to the realise how much fun it is
  19. Shame I have a life and play it very rarely
  20. Yes, the landmass is rather huge But no, in terms to where it is biggest, I would definatly say France & Belgium. Otherwise why would all the world championships be hosted there?
  21. Haven't really got any advice for you, because I don't know how you ride, but I can direct you to this site: http://www.trashzen.com Because it helps out loads on technique. It will teach you how to pull off moves you probably never thought you could pull off. Also, check out Ryan Leech's tutorial vid, because that will help you fine tune the basic moves, and you will also learn the exact bodily positions you should be trying to conquer.
