  1. Buy a spoke key and tighten the spokes on the oposite side of the way the buckle is going if that makes sense? So if the buckle is going left, around the buckle tighten the spokes comming from the right side of the hub.
  2. I think it'd look the best with rear rim, and disc up front.

  9. pictures dont do her justice, looks lush in real life.
  10. Been for another hour ride with them i really don't think they're up to the job, in my opinion they should be run on a light to medium grind and i intend on keeping my rim smooth. I'm selling these pads for £8 posted on my for sale topic if anyone is interested.
  11. Okay so my first ride wasn't very long or good with them, i HATE bedding in pads so after about half an hour riding around with the brake on and still no luck went home and filed the first layer of the pad off and reset them up square. Doing that made them a fair bit better but still not amazing by any means. However i did have a bit of luck with them every now and then but considering i only had a 45min-hour ride i can see them being a quite good pad in the future. I much prefer the feel of an alu' backed pad as i've never used one before and my brake was REALLY flexy so this made it a little stiffer (the flex probally isn't helped by the really soft compound of the pad. Will keep updating as i use the pad more..
  12. Got the pads today first impressions on them (looks) are decent, look better than they do on the pictures, nice purple-blue colour. Back of the pad looks pretty cool too, with a shiny metal insert. Something thats got me a little worried about their power is the fact that they're 5mm shorter than the normal pad in a plastic power pad backing but is a mm bigger in width. They feel like quite a weighty pad too, unsure of the weight and lets be honest, in a pad its irrelevant. Will come back with a review on how they perform on my first ride with them. My set up will be: Magura standard clamps alu washers magura slaves RB lever / lever body (thanks dave33) kevilar hose, no splitter. Dead grind on an onza zoot rim.
  13. Theres no bit which said issue number on it though, i fingered it out in the end though.
  14. There we go, ordered them. Bit skeptical about them but hey. I'll post a review in a week or so. am i the first person to order the pads adam? or arn't you aloud to answer that?
  15. RB lever, plastic booster, because trial frame, very dead grind - smooth onza zoot rim.. I'm not very good at this: Whats the: card security coad and the issue number? NOT my card btw, just a google image.
  16. Someone has to i guess.... f**k it. Ordering.
  17. What are they meant for? I was thinking about getting new pads, and its between these and heatsink blues, thoughts adam?
