    tyre boots

Oh let down I though this was going to be a post about how you made your old tyres into boots. Check it before each ride, ride it until it blows and then make into a new pair of boots
  7. It's good riding considering, but all it really proves is that riding without a chain sucks. If the chain snapped then fair play, although I'm not sure why you'd take it off on purpose I mean what's the advantage apart from roll back?
  8. yes I have actually moved out, so it doesn't really matter any more but I just can't help but speculate. It'l just go down in history as one of those unsolved crimes, I guess I will never know the truth.
  9. The razor may have used to try and push the poo down the drain. If I had only found a small un-touched cat poo in the bath it wouldn't have been an issue, I would'v just cleaned it up. The fact that it was partly washed away makes it seem more like someone was trying to hide the evidence, like it would have been too obviously his poo that he couldn't just leave it. Surely if you are lazy enough that you couldn't be bothered to clean a cat poo away properly, you would have just left it for someone else to clean up in the first place.
  10. oh did I mention that there was also a razor on the side with poo on the handle which was pretty suspicious to be honest.
  11. That was not the question but since you asked, I also found a parsnip with a condom on it down the side of a bed he had used, so it would not surprise me he's pretty unstable
  12. lite-ish brown colour, thick paste smells like normal poo. maybe could be a case of coprophelia? I have actually moved out cos this guy just creeps me out...
  13. Okay so I found the bath plug blocked up with poo the other day, and I am convinced it was my land ladies son (27 years old). My land lady seems to think it was the cat? definitely looked like human poo to me... I can not believe that cat poo could look and smell the same discuss...
  14. Yeah dreadnought is a bit of an ugly shape they'r designed to be easily mass produced. No pick up at the moment although I may fit a Fishman under saddle. You gotta spend allot to get a half decent sounding acoustic pick up. Hard to beat the sound of a good condenser mic. Took me a good 7 months to make, but I probably wouldn't get much for it. People don't realise that most factory guitars are made in 48 hours. They actually microwave joints, to set the glue off quicker and stuff.
  15. Thanks For the rosette inlay I cut and filed each piece of pearl individually by hand, (apart from the inside radius for which I made a sanding drum). The inlay channel was routed out using a dremel tool attached to a special router base which pivots on a pin to cut a circle. It's loud! super responsive bright sparkly top end but balanced enough, great for finger picking. It still has a decent low end for it's size although note as warm as a dreadnought. The body shape is based on a 1905 Washburn parlour guitar, it's an old design which has ladder braces instead of 'X' bracing.
  16. Wasburn style Parlour guitar I made at uni. Indian Rosewood back and side, European spruce soundboard and Sapele neck.

    Casual ride

    awesome riding nice edit too
  21. yes if you tilt the bars back a bit it will be easier to lift the front wheel and tip the bike, where as if you tilt them forward it's harder to tip but the bike handles better on the back wheel and you also have more control for front wheel moves, this is why comp riders tilt their bars forward. bar/stem set up is personal taste, experiment with different bar angles, a slight bar angle adjustment can make your bike feel wildly different.

    Ebay Returns

just say no, if you don't mind really pissing the guy off an getting bad feedback.
  23. I don't know off any frames that have both maggi and disc mounts, so unless you got one made or welded on then not gunna happen for rear. you could try with front though as the others have said I doubt it would work very well at all, cant beat a good brake that's set up correctly. Even if two was as good, they would be heavier and more expensive plus more to set up/go wrong.
