  1. There is a endless amount of trials videos on youtube. Just find some new riders to search for
  2. It might just have been a different colour? If it was black you might not have noticed it.
  3. Is your Caps Lock jammed or something?
  4. +1 I had V!Z Spanish Fly pads in heatsink CNC backings on my v-brake and I was really disappointed. For smooth rims on the front Onza Limes have always worked well for me with some tar.
  5. I have used them before and the chain has snapped at another link. I think it is probably just as likely to snap at a split link as it is at any other link.
  6. There shouldn't be a problem with the arms hitting the tyre I don't think (if this is what you are worried about, I'm not too sure ) Also onza v brake adapters aren't the best. My friend has snapped a few. EDIT: The spacers have to go on to the pads in a certain order too so make sure they are on correct.
  7. You can get it in different lengths. I'm not sure if it would work or not though.
  8. I have the front one in 26" and I'm pleased with it. The 26" rear one should be just as good as the 20".
  9. +1 He has bashed a lot... haha And it is an amazing rim! The anodising is better on the black one than on the other colours too.
  10. My brother got a trials bike but never used it. When my bike was broken I borrowed it and then kept borrowing it, then I snapped it and bought a new frame then called it my bike I have changed almost everything now though.. But I pretty much got a bike for free
  11. I agree. My Onza VP Caged pedals were terrible. They came loose, then the outside bits snapped off all within about a month of buying them. Platform pedals and definitely the best!
  12. +1 The Avid Ultimates are overpriced. And what Hunter suggested is an amazing setup!
  13. I have a trialtech lite which I am really pleased with apart from the fact it snapped yesterday and it was only just over a month old. Apart form that it is really good, no stiff links or anything. I have heard other people say they are really strong chains so I could just have been unlucky. I prefer it to the KMC K710.
  14. If you want a grind the the cousts would probably be best but if your staying with smooth rims then the whites or yellows would be better. The new heatsink v-brake backings are really nice by the way.
  15. I am one of those people It did work but I wouldn't recommend it as something permanent, but it is ok just for a bit. I needed to use slightly longer spokes at some parts because some of them will have further to go to reach the rim. When I did it it was a 32 hole rim and 36 whole hub, I wouldn't try it with a 36 hole rim on a 32 hole hub though because I think it would make it quite weak if it was missing spokes. Mine was quite egged when I did it but it was true.
  16. Personally I would not get a Magura HS33. My front v-brake is so much better than my Magura was and my back v is probably about the same as my Maggie. I would get some new brake pads though if the ones you have just now are not trials specific. The Inspired V-Brake pads are seemingly some of the best pads there are. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=84
  17. Well I would call it a front to back That is just what all us Scottish riders call it I think
  18. I just put some tar on the bars to stop them sliding round and it works fine.
  19. Beast video That spot at Kyle of Lochals looks well good!
  20. That was amazing!!! Gaps were huge!
  21. If you just do exactly what is says on the tutorial it should work fine. Just make sure you keep it underwater and put the bleed bolts back in before you take the brake above the water again.
  22. You should watch this... http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=8
  23. That is light!! Exactly the same weight as the RockMan Non Disc front hub
