  1. They are really good pads! Everybody I know who has had them has been pleased with them. I had to wait a while for my backings from heatsink but they were definitely worth waiting for!
  2. The 74 Kingz v-brake booster isn't on Tarty Bikes anymore either.
  3. You should have a look on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DELL-1545-Laptop-500...#ht_4155wt_1165
  4. It spelt weak by the way... And they are actually quite strong. If they were weak you would have no trouble snapping them. Get Echo Urbans.
  5. Definitely get the pro! The gear ratio on the bird is horrible! The pro has better dropouts too
  6. I thought it would have 135mm hub spacing? (Where the hub goes in the frame) I'm probably wrong but you should check before you buy a frame. All the ones posted above have 116mm spacing.
  7. They are really good freewheels. They are quite loud but if you open it up and clean them out they are really loud!!! You can just use any freewheel tool I think.
  8. I have had my Echo SL for a couple of months and I am really pleased with it. I would recommend either an SL or the new Tensile.
  9. Yeh it is a right hand thread. Right hand threads tighten clockwise and loosen anti-clockwise. http://www.sailingservices.com/references/threaddirect.htm
  10. Oh well I guess you have got it off now then? If Tarty are wrong then it probably the first time so im sorry for believing them. The new ones are DEFINITELY anti-clockwise to undo.
  11. Gears get in the way and can easily get hit on rock and brake. Also most geared hubs have less engagements. I would choose no gears.
  12. Yeh I know you want to undo it :L It is anti clockwise to undo it! You might need to hit it quite hard. EDIT:If you don't believe me, it says on Tarty it is a right hand thread, go google right hand thread and you will find out that it is anti-clockwise to undo it.
  13. I read this a while ago in MBUK and gave it a go. It was good but the best way to prevent punctures is to get a good puncture resistant tyre and just a thicker inner tube.
  14. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=144528 also it tyre not tire
  15. They are the same shape but one is black, one is grey. Get TNN LGM, Rock Blue or Heatsink Coust. You can't buy Koxx Browns any more I don't think but you could get Try-All Croco Browns instead if thats what you want.
  16. If you get a grind you will need to get new pads. I would recommend getting new pads anyway.
  17. I think the bite and hold with v-brakes is pretty much the same as maguras. Anyway here is some good stuff about vee's
  18. FAQ Guidelines This is for people to post INFORMATION only. If you need the answer to a question, please ask in trials chat. If you have useful information you think will be handy for other members, please to post it! Thanks. But anyway.. Magura HS33 (and v-brakes) have way more bite than discs. Personally i would recommend a front v-brake but that's just preference.
  19. Yeh, you probably can buy chainstay protectors on wiggle and chain reaction but if you land on it doing a side hop or that it will probably just get a hole in it. I got really hard compound GT grips taped to my bike on the side I sidehop to It works surprisingly well
