Preload, just before you gap drop your weight slightly down and back like you would with a sidehop and kick through the pedal as hard as you can. I'd also recommend watching the Ryan leech tutorials and get on to trashzen.com

I bought a set of the 2011 HS33's about november last year to replace my '05 and vee setup. I got the bike out this afternoon to have a little bash around and the piston arm had snapped where it mounts to the lever. I bled it before the winter with water/antifreeze and kept it inside an insulated workshed so that i could still use it in the cold weather. I was just wondering if anyone else has had any problems with them or heard about issues to do with them.

2011 Saracen 120mm travel all mountain hardtail, use everyday no matter the weather. If it's nice out then I'll go for a nice long ride on my way home -
Best way to go about removing my bash mount.
chris_trials replied to SamKidney's topic in Trials Chat
Actually, the weld doesn't create a stress point. If anything it adds strength, however, if you were to file/grind the weld so that it sits flush with the frame then that would create a stress point where you've thinned out the frame. All I would do is remove the main body of the mount and leave the welds alone -
I should be there for the 13th

Trials Parks In The North West Area
chris_trials replied to ginger allen echo's topic in Trials Chat
The North West desperately needs a trials park, I'm from Liverpool and when the weather is rubbish there is nowhere to go. The only place I can think to ride is rampworx, but thats more for 24"/26" street riders. -
This ride still on?
-
Should be able to ride

Stick with the BB7 just get the new model, I'd also run an odessy slick bmx cable. I used one with my vee and it was so smooth, almost like a maggie with a decent bleed
-
often feels like it, i ride during my lunch break so it probably makes it about that.

30/35 minutes each way(3 miles)

Riding with a trials/street gearing can be done, but if you're doing it everyday it can become tedious. I currently ride 6 miles to college and back on an 18:15 gearing and its not great
