  1. What Avid rotor are you running? you could upload a pic of your setup! cheers
  2. Is it me or your bike is a bit long? Sick video though, keep them coming!
  3. Well, just wanting to know how it works as there is no stock of 160mm Mono Trials on tarty. Thanks
  4. hello guys, got a couple of clips together, couldn't put a song on it because of the lack of resources haha. here it is anyways, enjoy esteban.
  5. I think that depends on the effort of the sidehop, you won't preload the same in a low than a high wall
  6. When jumping vertically, lean more backwards and trie to be as perpendicular to the floor as possible (as you can see you are sticking your head to the front. try not to do that). Then for the tuck, use more your legs than your arms. It must be a synchronized work. I personally like to stand diagonally and a bit further to the obstacle, then you have more room to tuck. myself;
  7. Starting with something a bit little. Then gradually going bigger and bigger instead of doing it instantly
  8. I would pick the Kabra, not only for geo but also for strength. The Neon Borns are really nice but the last ones lasted nothing, same for Bionics.
  9. Maybe he also changed pedals? lighter pedals can make it feel different
  10. That sounds fantastic then! I'm going to work on this, thanks! Head angle as I know is very standard (71-72). On BB rise I would pick something like +85-90 but I know nothing about reach. I've just read it's the distance from the centre of BB to the top of the head tube (or centre?). Koxx and Ozonys have 585 and 580, should I go for something like that or shorter? CS will defo be 350. Thanks Mark I just want to stick on with mods, I feel them perfect (I've also tried some 24"s). Massive thanks for the replies so far!
  11. Hello people, Well I've been riding trials for about 4-5 years now and I'm currently on a dual disc mod. Thing is I'm not very tall, I'm 165cm (5feet5inches). Then my bike's wheelbase is about 1025mm (Zoo! lynx). What do you people think should be my ideal WB? Koxx and other comp mods are lower than 1000mm and also run shorter chainstays (I hate longs haha). I was thinking about 985 or something like that. This is because I want to buy a custom marino frame which I feel perfect! Thanks Esteban.
  12. This is just not real, totally amazing!
  13. In that case the front rotor should be in similar conditions, which is not :/ also, I live in a place where humidity is really high (I leave my bike on my room every night and you can see how it is). I believe it has something to do with the pads, just want to make sure it's that. Those marks appear after dragging the brake with some water on the disc. Thanks
  14. here is a pic of the red marks that were left on the rotor, happened on two set of pads and discs (both pro) Is it even normal? thanks Ignore rusty spoke please
  15. Mines are pro and they do brake really well on the dry and wet, but yes they sound really weird sometimes and they left some semi-red marks on the rotor... this has happened in two different set of pads and discs, so will try the standards! a friend has them and they feel amazing.thanks for the replies so far! How would you recognize a properly bedded in brake? thanks
  16. Which pad of these two would you use and why? (it can be any rotor) thanks!
  17. Well yes, but apart from that I think that, for example if the rotor is in a 90° angle, caliper could be at 85 or 95, resulting in a spongy lever feel as the contact won't be parallel.
  18. I've got some of these as they were supplied with the brake anyway I don't think the problem comes with horizontal adjustament, but with vertical Shipping from chile would be expensive haha. I don't think any bike shop where I live can do that job, anyway I will ask ! thanks for the replies so far
  19. Hello, Can you give me any tips of how to sep up an IS caliper so it's 100% correclty aligned to the disc? I know sometimes the disc mounts of the frame come a bit crooked and you need to use a file on them, then how I know it's the case? please help and be patience with me thanks! (Zoo lynx frame, Trial Zone caliper, 160mm rotor, Zhi Hub)
  20. These should do the work right? https://www.tartybikes.co.uk/aluminium_bolts/probolt_m5_x_8_alloy_1/c522p10277.html thanks for the replies so far
  21. Why disc bolts have torx heads instead of allen heads? I always round them (maybe it's me or the key I use is bad quality?). Does this happen often to you? cheers
  22. Hey guys, Some friends came to my city for about a week with the only reason to ride, this was the result! Hope you enjoy it;
  23. It must be from Gilles, Rick Koekoek or Benito. All UCI athletes are going huuuuuge in every way, the difference is they don't measure nor tape almost any movement. They just don't focus on single movements, it is just a part of their training.
