  1. Nope, it's a Echo SL. It sounds a bit strange atm maybe because I had to put some wd40 in Jep, it's a Marino. Well, it cracked near the headtube and everywhere round the gap in the seatstay, so I had it welded by a friend of the cameraman who closed the gap in the seatstay as a whole and repaired the crack in the downtube/headstube area. Steel f t w
  2. Thank you! I wasn't really happy with this clip since it neither felt nor looked smooth. The problem was that the box didn't has a floor, as a result it wasn't as reliable and stable as we thought it was Moppelkopp was behind the cam which is a Canon 60D.
  3. We've spent two saturday nights riding/filming some local spots around here in Cologne. Actually, some of them were only rideable since no one cares at night whereas normally people wouldn't appreciate an idiot manualing over their tables We enjoyed it and were out till like 3 a.m. both times. Here we go:
  4. Ever since I got back on 24" I used to run a pretty shity drivetrain. 160mm cranks with 18T FFW in combination with a 15T screw-on cog on the back. I never came around to change this, maybe because the only thing that could cause me to change this would be a Middleburn crankset that I have looked for for months now... so far without success Feels pretty good though, sucks when it comes to speed but in the end you just need to pedal way faster which I just accepted lol.
  5. Before switching their domain from trialspart.lv to trialsparts.net there actually were some issues with the owner taking his time to react to requests, which was pretty annoying. I myself ordered a frame/fork kit back in the day which in the end took like 6 weeks to arrive. In the end everything worked out, but I stood away from ordering again from them. I don't know whether things have changed after they improved their website, that's why I definitely won't blame anybody
  6. Did you just wreck the red knob? Like this:
  7. I've allways used the standard pads that came with the brake. I never had any issues or reasons to swap them, they're just powerful as nothing else even with the Roundagon rotor. Which rotor do you use? The standard Roundagon is ok but by far not as good as the G2! When I exchanged my roundagon with a G2 it was just like as if god put his finger on the brake and suddenly there was an increase of like 50% in locking power Also, mod or stock? Which size did your rotor come in?
  8. You'll definitely have fun using this stem! High-end build for sure
  9. Liked the way the track suited the riding! Really nice!
  10. Some nervous riding in there.. big moves though. Sorry, but "view-catching" using somebody elses name is stupid as well as annoying It even sucks on youtube on which most people have no idea, but on a trials related board it's even worse.
  11. Marinos are quite useable apart from some issues: 1)Stay away from gaps in locations other then the headtube! Both Marinos I rode cracked at those gaps especially in the tube that takes the seat post->Tell him not to cut these gaps into the frame. 2)Tube alignment is not made for suiting perfectionists' liking. Just as said above, my rear wheel allways used to tend to one side while being perfectly build and mounted. Especially Brake mounts could be not parellel as well.. 3)The headtube on some frames is not deep enough to take headsets like the FSA The Pig DH Pro. Just an issue occuring due to a desig-fail, since the headtube used to reduce its diameter after like 1cm inwards. I don't know whether these issues still exist since my Marinos were made before he changed his work. All in all every Marino I got was kind of a surprise since you never know what you get, but in the end everythings works out (I'm still on a Marino currently after selling my Inspired)
  12. I just sold it due to financial issues. It was just stupid to abuse a 300€ frame - in case I would have broken it I would have been in a crisis lol. So I sold it and picked up the Marino from a friend of mine for free. Win-Win as it feels just as good apart from the "prestige"
  13. Those were my first thoughts too lol. Well done!

Jesus, some of those combos were just brilliant (especially 7:33...)
  15. It actually turned out quite good in comparison to what usually happens when I paint something on my own It's not even lacquer, it's graffity Well, I'ver never used hydraulic brakes again since I've first used a Vee with a trialsy setup Current brake performance can be found here. It's not the price but the fact that some of those parts are hard to get.. it took some time to get all components I desired (especially the XTR booster. Check Ebay frequently is the only chance you have)
  16. Nice one! Enjoyed that I just love those spots, they simply never seem to get boring, no matter how often they were "abused" in trial videos
  17. I've just tidied up my hard drive and came across some shots taken back in the day but also quite recently I'm the rider right through all those pictures (those last pics also include Fabian and Linus, who are the other two members of our demo team) whereas the bike changed from time to time in order to keep it going Hopefully the automatic resizing works for me
  18. I'm currently on a Marino. Well, actually I switch between two frames as one of them is allways cracked or something (So quite often one is in use whereas the other one gets welded ) The raw one is the same as the green one since I just sprayed it during the last barbecue-session Frame: Marino 24" with a mixture of Inspired/24UK geo Forks: Echo Urban Headset: Cane Creek S8 Stem: BBB 70mm/35° Bars: Trialtech HighRisers Grips: Trialtech foam Front brake: BB7/185mm Avid G2/linear slic/XTR lever Front wheel: RhinoLite on Corratec hub+Holyroller BB: Truvativ GigaPipe DH Cranks: 160mm MOE Rockring: Neon Freewheel: Echo SL steel 18T Pedals: Wellgo Chain: Koolchain Tensioner: Selfmade 74 Kingz Rear wheel: Spank Stiffy on DMR Revolver hub/15T sprocket/Holyroller Rear brake: Shimano arms/Shimano XTR Carbon booster/linear slic cable/XTR lever/Coust CNC pads Seating: Inspired seat/Salt pivotal/mankind seat clamp
  19. Thank you! Actually these were just some spontaneous clips taken on one single day. We already plan making a "real" video including some proper editing and chosen spots, so yes, there will definitely be more footage in the future which I'm really looking forward to as we allways have fun when going for a ride together The track is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lDs53rfqzA.
  20. A friend of mine just got a 60D so we dicided on taking some clips around the town Here is what we got, hope you like it Martin
