  1. what about Saved by the Bell, Hangtime and various other delightful American cheese they had on in the morning on Channel 4. Screech But Saved by the Bell "The College Years" can F*ck right off.
  2. Personally I simply moved it from Trials chat to News. It is a newsworthy thread whether it contains advertising or not. Its not a "Wow look we have product x in stock" Its a completely new frame and company and i think the people of the forum have a right to know. Good luck to the guy hes only one rider starting up, so needs all the help he can get. But then if Triton cycles or anyone else had a similar thread closed it cant be one rule for one person and another for the next. I dont know if thats the case as I have never closed any Triton related threats myself. Advertising is such a thorney issue you wouldnt believe. There has been discussion after discussion on the matter, trying to form some sort of definitive set of rules thats fair to all concerned- but there always seems to be loop holes or contradictions because of the difficulty of defining it all. It was left to run itself just fine until certain people started taking the piss and trying to get away with blatant plugs left right and centre without supporting the forum. Ever since then its been a very touchy subject.
  3. Have you seen the Trials Park they have in Port Moody, Canada ? It would make a good example of how a trials park can work, being popular enough, with enough stuff of varying levels to ride. Thats outdoors though but im sure you could still borrow some ideas. Im sure there will be pics/ info on Biketrials.ca
  4. I think/ hope he has learnt his lesson now. Hopefuly in future Beau you wont have such a piss poor attitude and you'll have a bit more respect. Give your opinion sure, just cut out the attitude/ exageration/ insults.
  5. the same as most people above. Its kind of different being a uni boy though as its just the done thing, and as soon as your next loan installment comes through it usually pays it off and gets you back to zero (except at the end obviously) We are in so much debt that it doesnt really make that much difference to be honest! If you are working though and have proper rent/ bills/ food money to pay for then its not something to take lightly. You just have to know what you can afford and remember its not your money.
  6. Back in the day Kris was one of the only riders that could come anywhere near Ed Tongue (when he rode pure Trials) for pure unadulterated style. Great old skool rider!
  7. I really dont think deals of this kind are suitable for an internet forum such as TF, whether they are "dodgy" or not. Even if you were a full member (which will be never in your case) then it wouldnt go down very well, but as this is NMC then its just not allowed. Your lucky its been left open this long to be honest, so youve had your chance to do your Dell boy dealings.

  9. Creation Nightclub Brighton actually one of my least favourite clubs in Brighton due to the chav scum that usually frequent it (even on student nights) But its the only one I could find with a working website A couple of pics for the lazier amongst us..... what the hell is George Seamons doing with Fatboy and Zoe ?! edit- hmmm the website redirects to the wrong address nice.
  10. Ha! I wrote that article on Wayne Reynolds many years ago. He's from Claxton in Norfolk, not Clacton Essex. Its proper farmer land, in the middle of no where. I used to ride with him all the time, and he always had the shittest bike you could ever imagine. GT Arrowhead with HS11 brakes and brown cassette and chain that had snapped about 7 times- yet he was so smooth and skilled. Then he had the worst set up Pashley ever known to man which he rode in the article, followed by a £199 onza T-Bird before he got a short lived "sponsorship" deal with Echo. I think all the shitty bikes was down to the fact that he didnt have a job for about 4 years If he ever got a proper bike he could have been amazing. He kept drifting in and out of riding and I eventually lost contact with him about 3-4 years ago. No body has seen him since P.s- high five to anyone who remembered Bashguard.com! That was mine and Frickers site. Happy days, I used to love running that site. Even more respect if you can remember one of my original sites- davetrials.ismad.com davetrials off here now has my old email address I think?!
  11. or its his fake I.D. Search his pocket and you'll also probably find a fake passport, social security info and National Insurance card. The joys of illegal immigration.
  12. So thats where Rasby Nesbitt is these days, following the decline of his 90's sitcom heyday. Gutted that he's lost the mullet perm/ sweatband combo though Oh well at least he's still an avid drinker.
  13. I thought Final Destination 2 was far shitter than the third one, but having said that I was kind of half watching it whilst playing poker. Ok I wouldnt say 50 first Dates was one of the worst films of all time, but I didnt like it- cheesy chick flick If Breakfast Club can be put in here though which I loved, then 50 first Dates easily can imo
  14. More to add to my hall of lame Mr & Mrs Smith Hellboy Wolf Creek The Village Ghost Ship 50 First Dates
  15. Just remembered another one. The Boogeyman. I had to be dragged away from my TV as the end credits rolled, as I was actually venting my fury F*ing and blinding at how that pile of crap had taken away 2 hours of my life. It was so bad I was fuming A man scared of the boogeyman, who apparently devoured his dad when he was a kid. I mean come on P.s to the guy above: are you thinking of War of the Worlds ? which again i actually quite liked
  16. i watched that last night and thought it was an awesome film. Looked like it was going to be your typical high school jock/geek/ outcasts type brash comedy, but ended up with a much more thoughtful ending and purpose. Maybe you were expecting some toilet humour in your face comedy like American Pie (not that thats a bad thing) ? It wasnt hilarious all the way through, but i did laugh out loud on numerous occassions, and the rest of was really thoughtful and made me think. Subtly brilliant. It got like an 8/10 rating on IMDB from about 30,000 votes so it cant be that bad. In the worst films ever made of all time?! surely not
  17. What are the worst films that you have ever had to suffer? You know, ones where a weeks all inclusive holiday at Guantanamo Bay prison camp would be preferable to having to sit through it again. Films so bad and embarassing that you'd have to smuggle them out of the DVD shop in a brown paper bag as if it were a porno. I'll start..... Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D caught this on ITV a few weeks ago at about 1 in the morning. Its a comic book adaption but didnt quite get the same budget, attention, big director, star studded cast, well anything as sin city. Looked like it was knocked up in about a week with a budget of around 50 euros. David Hasselhoff played Nick Fury and his trademarks were an eye patch, a cigar, and a love of the ladies- need i say more! Was one of those films that is so bad its almost good! another terrible film I have had inflicted upon me is Red Eye (oh dear this was terrible. Not even bad in a funny way )
  18. In no particular order. I need to watch more films though Kill BillRequiem for a DreamLa HaineFight ClubDonnie DarkoThe Usual SuspectsAmerican BeautyTapeTrainspottingNick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D ( )
  19. anyone is welcome to buy my 2005 Guinness hat for a fiver
  20. there we go. Each pint of guinness you buy on St Paddys day you should get a token. Collect 4 (or 5 depending on where you are) and you shall receive a hat similar to this so that you too can look foolish like these idiots here! good stuff
  21. Dont usually drink it that often apart from St Paddy day just to get into the spirit of things. The main reason being that in our local (to lecture hall) drinks are expensive anyway, and Guinness is quite a bit more than the cheapo nasty lagers which suit my monetary needs far better (plus after a while you actually get used to drinking nasty Fosters Carling etc and it becomes tolerable, as mad as it seems ) Usually have a couple of Guinness for a nice change, then back to the cheapo lagers Also another reason not to drink too many Guinness is that you get the worst shits the morning after ever! black poo anyone? but come Friday I will be going all out Guinness whatever the costs. 5 pints for a hat here boos hiss. My poor housemates, having to use the same toilet as me the day after like Andrew T said, beer is an aquired taste and can taste pretty rough when you first try it. Give it a few years and you will probably be converted
  22. Yes its a good film alright and in my DVD collection already. Its pretty damn gripping with a brutal ending that really makes you sad/ think. I saw the directors cut i think, and i heard the cinema release had a cheesy hollywood ending on the end Having seen it a couple of times you do notice that its actually quite cheesy in parts but its still good. Also cant help comparing it to Donnie Darko and seeing it as a poormans version. Definitly worth a watch though!
  23. haha as opposed to promoting talk of inter family relationships. You think mentioning the name Chloe is worse than that! actually, hang about
  24. Im a bit late but welcome to the forum. I cant believe that nobody has said this already but I hope that you fair better here than the last Chloe Everyone must have been too sidetracked by the whole Alabama Whammin' talk.
