From the sounds of things its a tough choice with not much between the two options. Is it a 50/50 decision or do you have strong feelings for or against either option? If college isnt a complete nightmare for you and you are getting on ok then quitting half way doesnt sound the best of options. You have made it half way and its only two years of your life- thats absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things! As its already been said AS levels will be barely any better than GCSE's, where as A-levels will give you so many more options. With A-levels more than likely you will be in the position of being able to go to uni should you choose to. Im not saying thats the best way to go but you have already said yourself you might want to do that. You will have better job prospects and uni is an options. Your obviously undecided what you want to do, so why not keep going another year and give yourself longer to decide. If not then in a few years time you might really wish you went to uni, but because you didnt get your A-levels that path was never open to you. Just my thoughts anyway.

I know that spot very well- I must have ridden it so many times now over the years! Is a nice little area, but the old folk can get quite protective of the flowerbeds! Not sure about the carnival as dont know where I will be living by then I went last year but only to watch, and for the beer tent (which was crap) Wont be able to make the Norwich ride, but Monday or Tuesday could be good. I will let you know nearer to the time. Oh and I have barely ridden at all in the last two years, so I have my excuse for being crap lined up already -

When are you in Cromer until? Thats my home town and I'll be back by Monday 29th May. There is a bit of riding around there, although its not great in the holiday period as it gets too busy. There is also some nice sea defence rocks that have just been laid, about a mile down the road. As for McD's in Norwich there are two in the centre. One down the old high street (gentlemans walk) next to top shop and Next. The other one isnt far from there in the new shopping centre (Chappelfield) Dave- head of Tourist information in the North Norfolk area -
Came downstairs to find "How to Lose a Guy in 10 days" was being watched. Thankfuly it was agreed by all that it was utter drivel and we changed over to watch the awesome American Beauty. Crazy night!

Yeah but the BNP's overall aim is to chuck all Jonny foreigners out of the country, if they were ever to be elected into government (heaven forbid it ever happens). Of course its still running now, because they arent in power. Seen as 90% (ok exageration, but still) of the 1.4m that work for the NHS are foreign, we really would be up shit creek. Good plan batman.

I'd go back and discover the rest of Canada. Check out the smaller parts like Nova Scotia, and further up North where I could see the Northern Lights. I'd also be fascinated to see Alaska and what it's like in a city such as Anchorage with such extreme conditions. Iceland and Greenland also fascinate me.

Well actually you were right as I was thinking of an air horn, but wanted to give it more of a comical name. Anyway I'm off to the truckfest in Ipswich with Michael, before I have to warn myself for an MSN style convo in here. Good luck with sorting your little problem. Ipswich ahoy. (Timmy Mallet is opening the one in Skegness but it will never be as good) -

Nah I can see your reasoning in a way, as I'd have similar thoughts running through my mind if my gf did a similar thing. Nothing wrong with a bit of immaturity from time to time- look at me I go on pub crawls dressed as a Mexican (hardly the height of maturity). I wouldnt do it personally but, fair enough as long as you dont take it too far. Please take a comedy clown air hooter and let it off every time she trys to speak -

ok fair enough its up to you what you do. I actually dont think what I was suggested was soft.... probably just the mature thing to do. I didnt realise she had already had her say (probably should have guessed) so just tell her (not softly softly really drum it into her) what a bitch she has been and say theres no way in hell you'd take her back. Why is that soft ? Just cos you dont go wearing a pair of wacky glasses with eyes painted on them, or a crazy clown hooter to let off every time she trys to speak? If you really must be harsh to her then just say you'll meet up with her and dont turn up and never speak to her again. Thats fair enough. But laughing in her face or honking a clown hooter () just seems like it would be better suited to the playground. -
That sounds like a pretty damn cool job. Shame I suck at design A Marketing job would be nice, as I'm supposed to find a 12 month placement starting in July and I have precisely nothing lined up at the moment.

Do you really need to do something harsh to her like laugh in her face, or pretend you're clinically depressed and blame it on her ? From what you've said about it all, she was really out of order to you and majorly took you for granted which is utterly crap for you. But im sure shes not a completely evil, heartless bitch- something you've admitted yourself. Cant you just go meet her, let her have her say (and possibly ask you back out?) and then just politely but very firmly tell her where to go with her offer. Have it out with her and tell her exactly how she made you feel and how good you were to her and why you can never take her back again. If you can tell it how it is well enough and describe exactly how crap everything she has done to you is, with enough assertiveness and confidence then she'll more than get the message. You went out with her for 3 years? surely you can be fairly civil about it? Just prepare some strong words to say and stick to them. And adopt a stone cold glare at her too. But maybe Im just soft -
Well done Tom glad its pretty much all done Is that it for you now then? Final year? What on earth are you going to do now? Im not looking forward to the end of my final year. Full time forum tech monkey maybe

MBUK had something similar, called the "sandbox" Except you couldnt really tell the difference between threads in there and the normal forum It would end up making NMC look like it was full of Shakespearean literature, which is never a good thing when you see some of the posts in there. Not to mention the amount of abuse that would start flying around in there- which is of course against the rules anyway. And as Mark said, the crap and general attitude from there would start spilling over into the rest of the forum, and it wouldnt be pretty. I havent even read this dustcap thread, but from what I 've heard, it sounds like its full of bilge and I would have closed it to.

Love all his card tricks, but I dont really see the point in all these stunts. The box one in London was just abysmal- it was supposed to be an amazing spectacle but it was just a man sat in a box not doing anything, looking like he needed a good meal. Did anybody see the Lock picking "escape artist" called Soloman on TV the other week? think it was Channel 4 at like midnight. He tried to make himself look all edgy in the mould of Blaine or Derren B, by taking his "art" to the street like those guys do so well. But he just looked like a massive geek trying to be cool. "from the age of 5 i realised I had a fascination with locks"

I ride my trusty old Planet X Zebdi (bought from Adam at Knightriders). I've barely ridden over the last two years due to commitments at uni (lazing around etc) so my bike and riding skills are a bit out of touch these days to say the least. I have ridden around Cromer, Sheringham, Norwich, Yarmouth and Lowestoft A LOT since like 1999 to 2003 so its all pretty boring now- but I havent ridden there in ages so It wouldnt be so bad. Only know Ricky Dace off that list as he was the first trials rider in Cromer, and possibly even Norfolk! any other Norfolk riders lurk around this forum then?
-
Hey. I'm from Cromer although the majority of the year I live down in Brighton where I go to uni. You arent the guy who posted on here last month asking for photos from Norwich are you? I posted quite a few up but he never replied- he was from Sheringham too. Might be able to meet up and ride at some point but I dont get much free time even when im home

thanks for putting the Big Break theme tune back in my head We were trying to remember how it went last night. Loved that show, even though Jim Davidson is a twat. oh and poll is now closed for obvious reasons

Yeah, how shit is the commentary for snooker?! The amount of times I heard "This could be the turning point in the match" or "the frame is surely over now" (after like 3 shots. Only for it to go on and on) They just say exactly the same things and so bloody cliched. Stick to trick shots Virgo

I'd probably shove their face in a deluxe George Foreman grill and trap it in there, listening to that crackling, frying noise as they feel the full wrath of it on maximum heat. Its the ultimate multi purpose tool.... bacon, chicken, and face. That probably wouldnt finish them off, so I would proceed to unplug George and then batter them with it until they went cold, white and limp. Then finish cooking them up, marinade them with cajun and dinner will be served.

I wish Ronnie was in the final Erm, last time i checked Dott was 8 frames ahead. Although Ebdon is a good fighter I doubt he will have enough to come back from this one.

If thats how a typical 16 year old thinks in this country then I dont have much hope for Britain in 10 years time
