  2. happy birthday Alexx. (thats a guy wearing a party hat wielding a candle. clearly not a wizzard)
  3. These guys need to be getting involved with the MBUK type stuff asap. They need to be media friendly and enjoy demos and public promotion stuff and the like. Wayne gets my vote as he seems to fit easily into the media mix and has good links with Akrigg already. But im not really up on the scene these days. Berridge, Goddard etc are all great riders but I just dont see them as 'Martin' type replacements. I reckon its also got a great deal to do with who riders already have links with. Wayneo for example knows Akrigg etc who should be able to pass him onto the right people. But what do i know..... I dont think anyone is ready to be anywhere near as big r successful as the Martins have been over the past decade though. Would be very interested in what they feel on the matter. Come on guys let us know. Grrr im drunk
  4. The Martins, Akrigg and Tongue (although he seems to have dissapeared lately) will have to hang up their Trials boots so to speak eventually. Where are the next generation of Trials personalities to take their place? do you think that another UK Trials rider(s) will ever rise to the same status as the Marts have? Plenty of riders can now go bigger and better than these guys yet they are still up there as the most well known UK Trials riders. Craig Lee Scott and Tunnicliffe probably get talked about more than anyone else on the forum, but outside of TF and the Trials scene they are pretty much unknowns. Its not just about being a great rider, but a great personality too- and one thats media friendly. It seemed like the Trialskings could well have been it, but that didnt work out. How many people here would probably not taken up Trials if it were not for seeing the Marts in MBUK or some video? If Trials is going to stay as popular then surely it needs new guys to be coming up who can star in magazines like they have done? discuss... if you like
  5. way, way, way cooler than trials
  6. Unless Trials ever takes off big time I doubt there will ever be a Trials mag in print (not a worthwhile one anyway) Trials just isnt big enough, so its impossible to make any money out of it- infact impossible not to lose a lot. People get everything they could ever want right here on this very forum anyway. Fair play to the guy for trying with BTM, it was a brave move. The amount of time and effort it would take to produce a decent magazine that comes out monthly or whatever would be phenomenal. Poor old BTM.

  21. Its a copied version of XP. it shouldnt be a problem with that though as i have tried two different copies.
  22. I got loads of spyware crap on my laptop ages ago and despite trying several spyware removal programmes i couldnt shift it. I got so pissed off i resorted to doing a full reinstallation of windows XP. But thats where the problem is. It would get about 3/4 of the way through the installation only for it to randomly restart. I have tried starting again literally 20 times but the same thing happens. Now its even worse and it turns its self off within 30 seconds. Its not the battery as its connected to the mains. The local laptop shop quoted me £45 p/h just to look at it and there is a two week waiting list- bollocks to that! does anyone have any ideas what i can do to get the bar steward working? it stays on if i hit f8 and f12 but not if i start the reinstallation. if anyone can help me get it working I'll buy them a pint, or soft drink if under 18! (as you probably wont live in brighton i might well have to send the cash value of a Pint/ soft drink bought at the 'King and Queen' Brighton in the post instead ^_^)
  23. maybe by you it is but i think chav trumps it by a country mile. Dave the silly gay
