  2. im looking to get into trials as i do bmxing and dirt jumping and i can shiftie, backhop etc my dmr with heftie dirt jump forks on so i was thinking of getting a trials bike, im 13 so im not fully grown yet i dont think (5.6") and i was wondering wether to get a 20' or a 24', but i was very intrested in 24s but then i started to doubt them because of the price and i could get alot more of a 20' than a 24 for the price. what do you guys and gals think ?
  3. what and then leave it in im guessing, so you replace oil for water.
  4. ye i was looking at maybe getting a inspired geo marino. i dont realy like the look of the zoot. i might if they have some mods done to them but standard im not to kean.
  5. ye, im still intrested but im just looking to see if i can get anything a bit cheaper as i havnt got all that money yet and im not sure how much i would get so im looking or something as a backup plan if i cant afford it and that bike that i dont reaky like the look of aint yours.
  6. well im not exactly a trials scientist but i have heard that the try all tyres are soft compound, basicly any tyre with a soft compound, but i dont think it will make that much difference it these cold slippery condition, your not going to realy be able to stop your wheels from slipping but if you go onto tarty bikes and go on the videos they have a guide for tyres on there i think. have a look at it, here is a link http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/media.php?group=guides&id=19 i dont know wether that has helped but i hope it has .
  7. are you asking it as " whats the best bike for a begginer " or " whats the best bike in the world "
  8. ye i was looking at something a bit cheaper if i can, like, 400 at max.
  9. im looking at getting a 24', i would love a inspired but they are not exactly cheap and all the other second hand 24s i have been looking at are still in the 500 mark and i dont think i can afford it as im 13. i have seen a duel disk leeson for 300 but im not to kean on it as it has odd wheels and its not very nice if you ask me. now i have been thinking about maybe building my own from second hand parts, how much do you think this would cost to get it all second hand ? or whats the cheapest i could make one for ?
  10. oh, sorry for posting a new thread, i have just read a post about how to get validated so i thought i might correct myself, thanks for the help everyone.

  14. lush if you ask me, most people go for the anodized parts and trick bling bits but im not a big fan of bling. yours is real nice and smart
  15. well i dont realy know the area and dont have a trials bike at the moment but i should have one after christmas sometime and im a bit of a beginner aswell and we could try and sort out a ride or something after christmas is out the way and everything, maybe make a new year ride, something like that.
  16. i am wondering if anyone has ever been to a meeting in wiltshire, swindon or any where near there and if there is any coming up soon ?
  17. this isnt on a trials bike but its on a bike lol.i broke up from school on the friday and in the last lesson i fell backwards off my chair and smacked my head on a set of draws, then on the saturday i was out and about on my bmx and decided to try and be a bit clevar and do a no handed foot jam which went extremely wrong and i went over the bars and cut both my hands. then just to top it off on the sunday i was doing motocross at foxhill and on the 3rd lap my friend went over the bars off of a jump and broke his finger and then on the last lap i wen over near enough one of the last jumps and over shot it by a long way and landed it at roled away and the bike was making funny noises so i stoped to get off to see wat it was and because my legs wer hurting alot so i got off and fell on the floor, got into the ambulance landrover and drove across all the bumpy field to get to the ambulance and i got there and they took my boots off and everythink, we went up to the witney hospital and had a look at my legs at said they wernt broke but xrayed them just to be safe and wer saying that i would be going on the trip that i was ment to be going on on the monday which was a activity trip for a week doing rock climbing and everything. So ye back to the story lol. he came out and said there broke, we asumed it was one so my mum says which one ? he said both !! so we ask what bones ? he says tibia and fibia in both legs. so that is basicly my best jamed packed accident weekend.
