  1. ye well to be honest i didnt put a deposit or anything on it and i didnt even have the money at the time, ye its good that you trusted me and im sorry i let you down but i was considering contacting you again to say i would have it if you still had it but you can forget about that now, i will look somewhere else, and if you read the email i sent you you will see that the reason i didnt buy it was because i didnt have the money then and i didnt think i would get it, and if its such a top spec bike for such a good price then why hadnt it already sold ? and it was more near £500 than £400. Im sorry, dont want to get into an argument so there probably wont be much point in replying to this because i wont reply. oh and thanks for the help chris4star, i will have a think about your mates bike and contact him through ebay soon. chris
  2. your not being a newb, you got to learn some way, i would say to go with stock, if your going to be doing street then you can use it, and i dont know much about natural but there not as good on natural as a mod but they will be better than a full sus, lol but you could still use a stock perfectly fine on natural, then you can have the best of both world and then choose which one you prefer and if you prefer natural then you could sell your stock and would have plenty of money from it to get a mod. hope i have helped chris
  3. ye i think i have contacted the right guy,lol i sent him a email not long ago.
  4. what kind of riding are you going to be doing, i have been asking what bike is best for me for a while and i have finaly learnt that its about what your going to be doing, a good first bike is a cheap bike with the best spec you can afford, maybe a second hand bike.if your doing street i would say stock or 24 but if your doing pure trials then a mod, it dosnt matter about your hight, as it says on the tartybikes video and it tells you why. if your looking to do street and you want a 24 what i was thinking of doing was getting a stock with good parts on it but not a so good frame, maybe a dented and scrathed frame, something like that with disk mounts on the forks, ride that for a while, if its your first bike your not going to be doing massive extreme drops so the dent wont realy matter that much, then try out a 24 and if you like it then by a 24 frame and wheels and then everything else off of the stock would fit. it all depends on your riding style. chris
  5. do you think you could send me a link for this inspired please, is it whit with echo urbans sprayed white on it, blue stem and hubs i think, if it is then i thought it was sold :/
  6. i am looking at getting a 24 trials bike and what is the weight difference in a ashton effect and inspired fourplay ? has anyone rode one? and if so what are they like standard ? what should i change if i get one ? chris
  7. hi, have you or your mate still got the inspired ? could you send me a message with some pics to lodders127@hotmail.com

    chris

  8. if your trying to sell it on here then i exspect the post would be closd by a mod soon because you not allowed to sell on any forum but the for sale forum but if not then i would say around £100 aswell.
  9. oh ye, sorry i will be doing street like drops, stairs, manuals and all that stuff only because i already do street on my bmx with a bit of trials on a bmx so its prety hard but i think i might just go straight for the 24" as i have the money to be able to buy a second hand one, and if i got a stock then i would probably end up spending the rest of the money walst i got a stock. thanks for everyones advice. chris
  10. not realy because im wondering if i should get a mod to start out on and see if im any good or go straight for the exspensive option walst i have the money ?
  11. i am looking at getting my first trials bike as im doing trials on my dmr. i am 13 and about 5.6 ft. i would idealy want a 24" but i cant find anything in my price range so i thought about getting a mod and then had a brain storm a minute ago that i could get a stock with disk mount on the front and use that for a bit and then get a 24" frame and wheels because every thing else would fit wouldnt it ? so im kind of a bit confused on what to do, HELP!!!!
  12. that was a well good reply mate, thumbs up to you , great diagrams.
  13. hi, im intested in your koxx, could you send me an email to lodders127@hotmail.com please or send me your email. chris.

  14. i had this problem with the cranks on my bmx and i replaced the bearings which helped a bit and i just put some lock tite on the bolts before i put them in and its fine now, worked a treat.
  15. i have sent you an email about your t mag and i have the money sat waiting.

  16. if you want something for down hill, dj, street and just general riding then i would head toward getting a jump frame and forks and then get some down hill parts on it, or just some chunky down hill tires, i got a maxxis high roller on the back and a shwalbe on the front and they are great for dirt, if you want something for street and dirt i would head toward a ns or something, dmr are good for general riding and all round though, my brother does have a dmr sidekick 2 for £250, great condition, if your intrested send me a pm or email or something and i will send you some pics. chris
  17. oh bit far away. lol wat u ride ?

  18. i would say your best bet would be a ashton effect, got a seat, can do trials, street and ride place on it with the seat up, you could put a quik release on it so you can have it down for trials and then wen you want to move on then put it up and ride away. they got prety hard gearing aswell, 22-14 gear ratio. have a look, good price aswell http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=50
  19. a magura hs33 is a hydraulic rim brake for better stopping power, they are used on the back most of the time with a disk brake on the front, have a look at some pics on google or have a look at pics of bikes on the forum. you have to have mounts that come on your frame to fit it or an adapter kit http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=74 wich will make you be able to fit a magura hs33 onto a v-brake mount. thats about it, i hoped thats helped.
  20. dose anyone have the weight of a standard onza t pro ?
  21. well i do trials on my 24 dirt jumper and do street on my bmx so i though i would do a bit of street and trials on a 24 trials bike with slightly harder gearing. thats the theory.
  22. i have been looking around the forum and i have noticed very similar questions asked about 24" trials bikes, what to get, where from etc, etc. So i thought maybe having a question and answer post instead of there being questions about them all over the forum, on this post they will be easy to get straight to. i know im only a pre member but i thoght i could post the idea, a full member or mod will see it and then make a proper post on it, but it might be an idea to leave this one on here or make another one so then if a pre member has a question about it then they can post it on here as pre members like me dont know that much ( or they might ) hope you like this idea. chris
