  1. i personly think your just tryng to ge attention by saying that you snaped your frame and someone was going to ask how and you did it and you would say by doing a drop or gap that you think is amazing, want to show it off. Sorry to snap but it gets on my nerves when someone thinks there all that and a bag of chips lol back on subject. i had a vee not long ago and i couldnt get on with it and i wen t to my freinds house and his brother use to bike and had a maggy on the back with the old evo adaptes so i asked him how much he wanted for it and he just said i will swap it for your brake and i wasnt going to turn that down. only had half decent pads on it and it worked prety well but there definately easyer to set up. i dont think there is nothing wrong with the evo mounts, work realy well if you ask me but now after switching to maggys, i would say go with a maggy with evo adapter with some good pads like the heatsink coust or something like that but let me say i havnt rode a bike with a real good set up v brake so im not the best person to listen to but thats my input. chris

  8. i sure but walst on the subject instead of making a new post will the heatsink reffils fit the standard magura backings ? chris
  9. i had this with my hope, it was leking and i didnt know where from so i just striped it all down, got new hoses and changed every seal in it, worked alot better than it did before and it stoped leaking. just rebuild it and change the seals. chris
  10. or if your able to do it without damaging your forks, get a haxsawe and cut into the bolt a little bit to make a groove and get it out with a skrewdriver so then its just like a skrew head. chris
  11. the ashton effect is good, didnt think much of it realy but i took a gamble and got it and i love it, front brake that came on it was crap and the chain skiped alot, like all that time, you couldnt even go up a hill, but i shortened the chain and it worked a treat, some different gearing on it would be good, maybe a 14 or 15 on the back, something like that oh and the bars are a bit short but apart from that it is a great bike. would of loved a inspired but couldnt afford it but i would say if you cant afford a inspired i would go for a ashton effect because if you cant afford a inspired then you wont be able to afford a adamant, echo or czar. chris
  12. will the yellow heatsink reffil fit in the standard magura backings ? chris
  13. looking for some new pads for my hs33 to go on the rear and have seen the koxx bloxx pads and they are prety cheap, they dont look to bad but what are they actualy like ?
  14. or just got another idea, you could rap some grip tape around it, you could get it in whatever color you want and if you spend some time doing it and do it neatly it wont look to shaby. chris
  15. you could use a plastic pipe and chop it in half to make it half a tube lol or you could try making something with some handy sowing work, get some cloth or tuff material or something and put somthing thick in between two sheets of your material like d3o or something, that would be perfect.
