  1. 6x9's are designed to fill in the whole range of sound by combining a standard cone and tweeter in one unit. The drawback to this is that u dont get great bass, and u dont get great high end clarity etc, so they have no real use. A decent set of components, a tweeter with a 6" or 6.5" mid-bass speaker, combined with the crossover the unit comes with, gives huge amounts better sound quality. The funniest is when people run far 2 much bass through 6x9's and then the tweeter actually separates from the rest of the unit and bounces about as they destroy themselves! Best option is a decent set of mid ranges (5.25 or 6) on the back shelf or under the seats imho M@

    Emo Girls

Nuf said fella...lol The majority of "emo" girls do all look the same but you always find some at a gig or a rock club that are hot as f*ck!! I dont dig the skinny emo jeans though, its hilarious when u stand behind "typically emo" guys and girls who both wear skinny jeans and try to work out which one is actually the male and female >< WOMEN SHOULD HAVE F*CKING HIPS !!!!!! /end of rant Any "alt" chic is hot though for me, just gotta find myself one now that Im single again Just cant wait til my mate moves to cardiff so I can spend every weekend going to Metro's as Ive been promised that it is FULL of hot alt girls on friday and saturday nights.... M@
  3. Just be careful of the rear swingarms, the ones on that generation model had a tendency to go KERSNAAAAPP on heavy landings...lol Mate I worked with last year broke 2 in 4 months >< Sweet bike though, always wanted a Super 8 or a Bullit, love the santa cruz styles Go thrash that bad boy!
  4. Heh yeah Im pretty sure it was one of them that Jonny J had, was there the big night ride in woking when it finally snapped at chainstay, funny as fook >< Looked pretty sweet though, just shame about them using cheese instead of metal for the chainstay yokes...
  5. Ok ta sounds good Only reason Im a lil concerned is cos the current setup, the tyre is VERY close to the drive side chainstay at the front where the boxed bit to clear the crank/bashguard is. Duno if thats just cos the speccy tyre has particularly wide knobs on the outside or what Any other useful comments? Ta M@
  6. Aww gutted mate Sorry 2 hear, looked a sweet bike, though at least as its a complete one-off if it turns up for sale anywhere people WILL notice =/ Im guessin no security camera's etc that could help M@
  7. Just a quick question, have hunted through searches and only info on rim width was in the "does x fit into frame y" topic, and only mentions d521's Basically, my rear sun mammoth is stuffed, and my old hope xc hub is startin to give up the ghost. Looking for something nice to replace it with....and wondered what would go best and/or fit. I love the mammoth, its a fat bastad rim thats lasted 4 years on a dirt bike and 2 trials bikes (though with not much use recently) but its only 32mm wide Would something beefier like an Alex DX32 fit the standard leeson frame? I know its 39mm wide, so maggy pads may need adjustin a lot.... Any useful info or suggestions would be tops, Im running a Speccy Roller RS 2.3 tyre if it matters Ta M@ Edit: Oh and hub-wise I cant afford a king so will most likely stick with hope and get a pro 2T
  8. Why on earth would u put a Sram X-O mech on a jump/street bike!!! They snap like twigs and are ridiculously expensive, just seems kinda pointless to be honest... Nice bikes though the P-series, looks better with upgraded fork though! Do u find it really creaky and noisy? Shop I worked at last year sold loads of them and they always came back with one problem or another M@
  9. Love thy integralé, well fookin hard. My most loved car in the world, behind the AC Cobra 427 lw Still wana buy one of them, but even now they go for silly money 2nd hand =/ Nice pics btw, bet there were many people squirtin over the bugatti, would love to see one in the flesh! M@
  10. to be honest V8's are nasty, like has been said before the bearings are shocking in them and even if u pack them completely full of grease they dont last that long. DX's are very nice but they have pretty low pins in them, down to personal choice I guess. Still the 'standard' in flat pedal design, ultra ultra smooth Best pedals Ive ever ridden, Club Roost 2D's. Have yet to find a single set of pedals that match them for lasting quality. Still got a pair after over 4 years of use, now on my current bike and as smooth as buggery! Shame u cant buy them any more though The VP pedals are pretty popular, but if u like the platform style ones then grab some V12's which will last u bloody ages! One other pedal that I never got to try, the Crank Bros 50:50 flat pedals. Saw a pair come in just before I left Evans, and they looked fookin sweet! If anyone's tried then how do they feel? M@
  11. Oh my sex Love it dude, will have to have a pop up to bristol at some stage once Im back home and see it in action How does it vary from the previous green frame then? M@
  12. Aye was a wicked ride guys, cheers 2 all of u for gettin me back into the trials groove! Just wana go out and ride more now, but my body isnt quite agreeing with me >< Gutted to u Gaz for missin that train, it killed me enough just riding the 2 miles back to my house from station! Mike u missed some comedy moments later in the day, understandable u bailed though with ur ankle bein so bad and the comp tomorrow 2! Prized moments for me: Meeting all the new faces and havin a blast (though gettin a touch sunburnt ><) The crazy woman who wanted 2 set her dog on us!!! Dan and Gaz doin the big gap off the pillar, Dan puncturing impressively and Gaz nearly killing himself! The guy who fell in the pond at the end of the day (sorry duno who u are on here :$ ) Random football fans trying to get everyone to do backflips and crazy sheeeiiiiitttt!!! Awesome day, shame more couldnt turn up but they missed a cracker! C yas soon on another ride I hope M@
  13. Meh spose why not Lil hung over but will give it a go lol Where do I have 2 go leaving New St station, never been down there on train except to shop :$
  14. Ideas on numbers? Weighing up coming down as nobody else is headin same way...
  15. Many people actually goin then or not? By sound of it none of the stoke guys are gonna be comin down, so the numbers seem to be decreasing rapidly Will drag myself outta bed if needs be, may b a touch hung over though M@
  16. I have a legit copy!!! Well, by legit I mean...its from one of the business edition disks with absolutely everything windows-related on (and worth about 5k ><) that my mate robbed from his old work.... Kinda counts for legit I guess...
  17. I kept mine at uni, halls for 1st year and then inside houses for other years No way I was gonna leave it outside, but most uni's dont expect people to bring an expensive bike I guess. One of guys I knew kept a dirt bike and a bmx in his tiny room all year 2, we all got a bit of grief time 2 time, just moved it out for inspections etc Just make a point that u wont be using the outside facilities until they make adequate security improvements, which they wont be arsed 2 do M@
  18. I got some old red ones....lol They a bit worn but if ur desperate then leme know
  19. nah its only bout an inch, couldnt b arsed 2 cut the steerer down and the thomson stem is pretty chunky so just stacked it up a bit. Started with a few stackers on top but changed to as it is there and made it a beast Love it
  20. I'll b there unless something earthshattering happens
  21. U sure Tomm....clive went down to the place he sprays it and chose it for me, he was 100% sure he'd never done one that colour before! Not arsed either way, I likes it U got any pics of the 24, just for curiosity's sake... M@
  22. Lol hence why I wanted it, have had it as my wallpaper on and off for 2 years, until my comp went poop So again, thanks huuuge amounts for the link Stu!
  23. Lol true I have a smooth rim (with possibly the remenants of tar on it) and zoo! pads.....awesome in the dry, but I may aswell be riding brakeless in the wet!!! Will still come out for a laff though if everyone else is, just leave me msg on here etc if anything changes Laters M@ Edit: Cant spell =/
  24. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah Love u dude, thanks loads. Ok wasnt sure who the rider was, was I at least right it being in liverpool then? Could be way out, I know its a pretty old pic so...!!! THanks loads again, possibly my fave pic in the world. Makes me wana get out and ride again! M@
  25. *looks out window* still goin ahead even with this *")^&$*&£@~@> weather? If so I'll be there for then:)
