  1. OooOOoo sounds like a plan. Duno if yoyoyo and his bro are about but could mooch up again and meet up with u all. The bike has been gathering dust since the last bristol ride, been 2 busy with work+gf :$ Where abouts is everyone meeting then, or is it still bein decided? M@ Edit: ok just re-read 1st post.....Temple Meads at 11
  2. Havent managed 2 much recently but have been known to play a bit now and again. Duno if any of you know the servers but I'm usually on one of the UKTrainingCamp ones (there's 3) #1:- 83.142.53.171:27015 #2:- 83.142.53.171:27040 #3:- 83.142.53.171:27030 Decent map cycle for the most part, a few annoying admins but generally a laugh on there. #1 is best as 2 and 3 have lower tickrates (33) so arent quite as reliable. My username+ingame are....suprise suprise....MadChikken...lol Also play Teeside servers occasionally and the eC*K 64 man now+again, know a fair few of the clan on there. Kokaine public is good but hard 2 get a space on there, lots of very skilled players! Oh and whoever was bitchin about css bein shit, it may not be as stable but its a damn sight prettier than 1.6! Still wana go back to 1.5 though M@
  3. Gotta love Escher, absolute genius. ^^ now that is amazing! Big respect to the guy who made that! M@
  4. Yeah I had a problem with one before I got mine, was a lil suspect about it so asked the seller if it was a genuine Sandisk extreme. He said yes, I ordered, turned up a week late and lo and behold it was a fake! Not happy at all. Useful ebay guide to fake cards ^^ that might be useful for somebody, you never know lol. I would say go for a branded card even if its a cheap one, as theres less chance of losing data etc in the longrun M@
  5. If u want branded ones dont go on ebay, 90% of them are cheap chinese/korean/etc knockoffs sold as the real thing. Plenty of places about 2 get them like Joe posted, this place is where I got my SanDisk Extreme III 2gig card from, plenty to chose from and decent access speeds. Linky As for the charger, would reccomend getting a branded one aswell, as if it f**ks up the battery or camera ur pretty stuffed really M@
  6. It is just a reskinned version of BF2, with all the same horrific bugs and poor net code The principle of it and BF2 are wicked, just a shame they did it on such a shoddy game engine and so cant correct it. Wait another month or so for Enemy Territory:Quake Wars. Now that'll be a game worth getting!
  7. Go to the uni IT help desk and tell them that you'd like to be able to play online games etc, so would appreciate if they unblocked the ports to allow that. Very suprised that Steam wont work, mostly its just p2p and torrent transfers that they dont allow! If the uni are that much of a bunch of ****'s that they wont unblock the ports then there aint much u can do, apart from find the local geeky computer guys who'll know a way round it, like already been mentioned! Good Luck with it M@
  8. Along with Ghost of a Good Thing.... *sigh* Possibly most special song 2 me after last few years of uni, words very meaningful, Swing Life Away by Rise Against. Anybody who doesnt know it, go DL and listen to it For the cheese factor, and something I think everybody who knows it strives for in a relationship, Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional. Day We Caught The Train by Ocean Colour Scene aswell, for reminders of good times M@
  9. OOo lots more people to ride bristol with! Glad Ive moved back to somerset now! Rowan how often do you guys ride up there (with berridge etc) ? I know we didnt hang around that long on friday when in bristol, the other guys had to get home so... Be good to get up there again and ride with u all, really enjoyed gettin back into riding and loads to do in bristol! I think a big bristol ride needs 2 be organised for when you lot have all started uni! Should be fun
  10. Lol well the way rich rides it you wouldnt think its a short bike! Big sidehops and taps like a beast! Lovely bike fella, like the new setup, the old rims were looking a little....aged....lol What chain are you using to get the perfect alignment, looks sweet! Guess its a bitch to get the rear wheel out though, with having to take the wheel out rearwards unless the design on that is different...? M@
  11. I just love the background, my mate made it in photoshop, he's pretty damn skilled with it!
  12. See edit... Its firefox's fault not your website! lol Edit: Lol damn edits!
  13. THe "bikechek" link doesnt work..it just goes back to the main page...duno if u know that. Quite a few of the links are the same (respect in top bar aswell) Edit: Ignore me, aparently it doesnt like opening in new tabs in firefox Very nice site though, like the simple layout
  14. Yeah the road ones do go side 2 side, the ones you've got there are called Dual Control, great idea, annoying as hell to ride with but save a lil bit of weight I guess Just whatever you do dont crash and go over the bars! The shift pod/level bit sticks out miles and if you twat it replacing them costs a shitload!!! Nice bikes btw, do like the speccy epic. How u get on with the Brain on the fox shock? Very clever system, only ridden one once and it handled like a dream, but takes a lil getting used to with the slight delay in the suspension action!
  15. Gutted To be fair though, much as he'll be really missed he's tread a very dangerous path the last few years. How many times has he been nearly killed by a croc? Half a dozen, a dozen? Real shame though, wicked guy and feel very sorry for the wife and young kids RIP fella
  16. I have same sorta problem, Im 23, 5'9 and pretty much bang on 10 stone. I eat shitloads, big portions etc though not overly health-consciously and I can never put on weight! I spent 1st and 2nd years of uni goin gym regularly but even then only just pushed 10.5 stone Ive got to the stage where Ive accepted that I cant gain much weight, and so just tryin 2 tone up muscle when Im not 2 lazy to go gym/do exercise. I guess eating a decent diet with lots of proteins and carbs might help but its never done much for me
  17. Rise Against Hundred Reasons Motion City Soundtrack You must get Rise Against though, they truly are gods
  18. Oooh sweet Might actually make it this time then! Would have gone this year if they hadnt uprooted it to the NEC Bring it on, one giant TF camping area?
  19. I think you're failing to see my point.... I dont have a huge issue with Truvativ cranks (I wasnt aware they were Hussefelts, regardless), but as somebody's already mentioned, this is in the same price bracket as a fully kitted Zoo/GU/Adamant/Czar complete with Echo/Zoo/Genericchinese CNC cranks or middleburns... For that sorta money I'd want top end stuff on the bike... Much as I respect Saracen for being vaguely british and clinging onto the low end of the MTB market, there's no way in hell they can justify charging £1250 for that bike!
  20. Did you install the iTunes updater software? I had a simillar problem with a mate's ipod when she couldnt get it to work, I got the latest updater software and it was able to flash the firmware on the ipod itself, and then it worked fine with the latest iTunes. Im guessing that its the new version of iTunes that has the issues, so try the updater 1st and see how you go. If that dont work then..... M@
  21. Exactly!!! WTF is the point in that! They snap in about 5 minutes when u wave a forest at them, let alone rocks and concrete on a trials bike! They put £200 or so's worth of mech and shifter on, and then fit the sodding thing with Truvativ cranks!!! Bunch of muppets, I dont see any way in hell that that bike is worth £1200! Saracen I salute you for being absolute tools
  22. Sucks dont it Gutted cos love my Zoo pads to bits and when they wear out Im gonna sit in a corner and cry
  23. Are you yoyoyo's (Joe) brother John? I get confused by who's who! I was the guy on a Leeson in bridgy a while back with Rich P... Joe msg'd me about it and am planning to meet you guys down at Dunball or somewhere and will follow in my car. Let me know a time and a place, I'll be on here in the morning and my mobile num is 07738639662 or add me to msn 1st thing. Look forward 2 seein u all tomorrow
  24. I'll be there aswell assuming the weather holds, its looking good at the moment! Should be fun, havent ridden bristol in about 5 years :$ See you's in the morning! M@
  25. Are they tubeless or standard tyres? As long as they arent too wide (i.e 1.8/1.9 ) so dont get bogged down in mud, and have a good mix of deep tread on the edges but smooth enough on the inside to keep rolling resistance down, you should be laughing. One of most popular when I worked in shop was a Panaracer Fire XC Pro in 1.8. Other than that, something like a Hutchinson Scorpion is pretty popular but fairly expensive, or a couple of the Conti tyres like the Vapour. Most come in a couple of different widths if u hunt around... Hope helps a bit M@
