  2. Ahh okay, have you not got a decent camera and tripod? Maybe you could record the television screen and upload it that way? Doesn't matter if you don't want to go to all that effort though
  3. Thought that might be the reason It'll be such a shame if he does :'(
  4. Anyone record it for those of us who don't have Sky?
  5. I don't tend to use AE for doing CC to be honest, just use it occasionally for doing various effects like motion tracking, fake camera shake etc. Also I have a mac, so (obviously) I don't use Sony Vegas
  6. Noooooo... His videos are my absolute favourite trials videos Has he mentioned why?
  7. Like I said I did VERY little CC and no colour grading in this video, only just a bit of warming/cooling on some clips to make them look more matched. Normally I would use a flat picture profile and then use the colour grader in Final Cut X and maybe Magic Bullet Looks if needed
  8. Start smaller and build up to it? If you are asking how to approach it you should probably be thinking of doing smaller/lower gaps first.
  9. I might have to pick up a Samyang then, they sound like great value It fills the frame on a 1.6x camera right?
  10. Haha cool. It's just that saying 'training' makes it sounds serious and like you are not enjoying it, after all, we all ride our bikes for fun
  11. Please don't call it 'training', 'practice' or 'riding' would be more apt
  12. Out of interest, what does a full one of these cost?
  13. Wow Williams I wish I could manual and G-Turn like that At the minute I can't do either move at all
  14. Actually on second thoughts, the whole thing looks nasty
  15. That tail thing at the back end is enough to ruin that frame for me completely
  16. Yeah thats a cool idea, I usually just do a long video clip and speed it up by 8x or 10x because I'm too lazy to make a proper time-lapse
  17. Plan. Yeah might do, but I think that people wouldn't be as interested in seeing photographs as they would a badass video of the event, so I probably won't take many photos. I just want to make a video that is longer than the disappointing trailer-length one of last years
  18. Thanks Rui! Cheers Jake, I will definitely be taking the camera to Radfest, but I'm not sure what I'll do with it. I may take photographs of the event, do a video of my experience of the event (general Radfest vid), or just video my own riding Glad you liked the camera work it Williams, I spent quite a while planning out each shot/sequence By the Way, I didn't do any colour grading in this video, just some mild colour correction
  19. Yeah, in one of the recent Koln Trial Jam videos you could get a good idea of the spec he was running. As far as I could tell, the only standard part of his bike was the frame. Everything else like the forks, cranks, bars, wheels, etc. were all top of range aftermarket kit
  20. Guyysss! The video has finally been un-privated/re-uploaded! Here it is for those of you who claimed interest:
