  1. Dude! Send me a text. Its sam kidney.

Will definatley buy some stuff dude!

Or get to me through facebook. Dont sell anything yet. I can pick up

  2. Sweet man Im confused though, are you running front magura or Disc?
  3. If your not allowed the use of a grinder, I seriously recommend Heatsinks CNC Yellows. Work so so well on dead grinds.
  4. I doubt many people have had experience with the TR pads. Give em a go
  5. Sounds like your chains too short if your using the smooth part of the cam. Im guessing your using the Echo TR cams?
  6. Might as well not run a bashring if your keeping it in that position.
  7. Mine did this. New snail cams, and get your wheel trued so everything is aligned perfectly
  8. Gotta remember, Ogres Zoo was from 2007. Old in trials terms, Gaz was unlucky, the GU Le09 frames are brilliant, and I cant comment on tobys GU Le08 as I know nothing about them. Driveside stays a bad example too. You see alot of frames cracking or snapping at the chainstay. Lots of force going through that part. Seen a few Neons and seen some speedrace frames in the flesh that have cracked or snapped in that area and no doubt there will be other non deng related frames and components that suffer from the same, if not a higher percentage of failures.
  9. To be fair, the new Echo stuff is pretty solid....... The new Echo frames have had some serious hammer from numerous people and are coping very well. The newer SL frames are lighter ALTERNATIVES to the standard Lite and Control/ Pure frames. The TR range is brilliant (bar the bars) and the SL range is pretty impressive too in terms of cost/ weight/ strength. Agreed, Deng missed a trick with the 09 Zoo Lynx and Piranha frames, but really thats all I can think of. Echo's products seem to be improving in terms of quality and durability. Im running Echo forks and a rear hub as of the minute. My Try-All forks lasted around 3 months, and these are bombproof, and my TR Hub is brilliant. Half the stuff Im changing on my bike is being replaced with Echo components, purely because of the range of stuff available at brilliant prices.
  10. I keep loosing my nipples :/
  11. Looks fun And I love that frame
  12. Had a word with jamie and he reckons that the Stone Grinding discs give a good deep and sharp grind that lasts on Echo rims. Looks like thats the way Il be going
  13. Well Ive got a thin Cutting/ Slitting disc at home so will give that a go. Dont want to be grinding away my rim, Only had it 3 weeks and because my discs are no good I keep having to regrind :/ How long do Echo TR sidewalls last? Look fairly thick These pads are the ones from the DIY compound heatsink sold in sheet form. Compounds harder than normal on these pads Hold pretty good, but the grinds no where near as sharp as It could be
  14. My Yellows have worn out man! I had the chance to grab some refills for a 5er so I did to keep me going, and im surprised at how nice they are, but they could be better if the disc Im using gave a sharper and deeper grind Im going for another set of Yellows when I have the cash Stainless Steel cutting discs any good?
  15. Hmmm, will have a look tomorrow. Had a quick look at the Tartybikes video guide and it says that Stone Cutting discs are generally the best. But thats what Im using :/ Maybe mines just a horrible cheapo one.
  16. Looks like it would rip the rim apart
  17. Just put on my heatsink Whites, and theyre pretty good. Problem is, my shitty grinding disc wont give a sharp enough or deep enough grind for them. Just dulls quickly, and this is an Echo TR rim that should hold a grind like forever. These whites are only a stop gap until I get my Yellow refills or Rockpads. So the disc has to be able to give a nice sharp medium grind that will last So, someone recommend me the correct disc to use please
  18. That is one lurvely bike Impressive weight to say it's the standard build too! Only needs some decent brake pads in there now
  19. Grinder. Being very very carefull. Ive done it.
  20. Cut it off :/ Rest of the bolt will wind out then. New bolt, new washer, done .
  21. Sweet ride! Love the look of those frames Erm, are the 2011 SL forks tougher that the previous models?
  22. Hey Guys! My work experience next week, but the shops closed on a Wednesday so thought Id see who was up for a little natty on the 20th? Just an idea atm. Say 11am? Cheers!
  23. I would buy Trialtechs. Urbans are good forks, but dont suit every bike. Lites looked good, were strong and well priced!
  24. Change of mind. For Freewheels/ headsets/ rims/ stems/ Hubs - Echo For Cranks/ Stems/ BBs/ Bars/ Forks - Trialtech For 20" Frames - Onza Ice or Limey 320/ Echo 2011 MK1/ Original Speedrace Fans For 26" Frames - Echo 2011 Brakepads - Heatsink CNC Yellows (so far)
  25. I think Echo should bring back the Echo Lite fork. In Disc, Disc and Vee, Disc and four bolt. By far my favourite fork ever. So hard to come by now though :/
