  1. Im liking the look of the new Magura HS33, makes a nice difference to the 05 models weve seen for 5 years..... I was looking at the lever design and it looks like a Fresh products 04 lever could be used, which i like. The original levers look quite short. I cant imagine they will feel much different to the 05 Hs33 though. Has anyone tried one of these?? sam.k
  2. Python all the way mate. Well i would say Python because i love mine and there soo nice to ride. However the Lynx is just as nice. I suppose its down to prefence The Lynx is light, But an 07 Pyhton is Bombproof (so to speak) Both are good options and you wont be dissapointed with either
  3. Hi all, Before anything starts im nit starting a new Pad thread, merely asking for opinions of HEATSINK YELLOWS ONLY!!! The Ones in the CNC backings Opinions welcome and remember, Heatsink yellows only. Im not asking for opinions on any other Pad Cheeres Sam.k
  4. You wont need a new rim. Youve done the smart thing and now you can alternate between disc and hs33 Neighbours got a 2010 onza pro with HS33 and its nice. Run it with Heatsink Yellows and your onto a win. They dont take the coulor of the rim, or it hasnt in this case and hes had his like this for nearly 5 months
  5. Really??? And im not a fan of the CNC wings haha. Ive heard good things about the frame before but just wanted to check as you are the guys in the know. Im needing a new frame anyway. The Neons got 2 cracks now, one on the seatstay where it meets the top tube behind the weld and another smaller crack near the headtube
  6. Almost identical to the 06 Il buy it then, the inbuilt boosters a bonus too ive got an echo booster now so i might put that on too. I like a firm brake
  7. Hi all, Im coming into some money next month and my mate has offered me his 2007 Zoo! Pyhton. I know its brilliant value for money spec wise but want to know if the frames are good. I want a strong frame to go with my strong components!!! All opinions viewed and taken into consideration. Thanks, Sam
  8. This is a debate that will almost definately never end. Like numerous people have said its down to preferance and your own physical ability. Im 5' 11" and ride mod and love it. Though i have ridden Stock before and found it to be just as easy and fun as a Mod, Its your choice Enjoy riding, whatever you ride
  9. Hi everyone, ive started to ride trials again for about 8 months now and am picking it up very quickly. Im doing some big drops, drop gaps and rear wheel to front wheel gaps too. My front magura is awesome and provides plenty of hold, but im beinging to worry about the strength of my aging Onza Lite Guy forks. Im asking for recomendations as to what fork i should buy. My bike is a Mod, it has to have either the 4 bolt magura mounts on the rear of the fork legs or has both the magura and disc tabs. Preferably under £100. Cheers Edit: reason im worried is ive had the forks for nearly 4 years now
  10. i think disk brakes and rim brakes have their pros and cons. I borrowed my mates GU ST double disk bike for a week and the hope mono trial brakes work great. Great modulation, feel and bite. Never slipped once, however, i had to be more aware as to where the back wheel was so as not to bend the disk. And it was reasonably heavy. My bike has magura hs33 front and rear and they work great! I use a very light grind with soft pads and tar and they are amazing, gives me a boost in confidence anyway. However i dont know much about wet performance as i tend to ride in the dry out of preference. I did once get caught out by rain when on the GU and the disks appeared to keep there power and hold
