  1. if u compleatly undo each spoke then u can move the hub round and slide the spokes out easy peasie. ben
  2. iv got a little play around thing in my garden if u can get an old filing cabinate they seem alright other than that its just pallets and boxes weve built. just move stuff around once uv got a few things together add some intrest. ben
  3. i bet that poor frames had a hard life might be worth some pennies in a few years. does look ina very nice condishion. ben
  4. i find the first grind is the best. might well just be me though seems to make sence that it would be as well. i find that tar does hold more than a grind but i hate it u cant get any modulation with the break and it sticks and feels horrible and if it so much as see's water it goes rubbish grinds are the way! as long as there nice and sharp and there is one direction thats better to go in than the other as well. ben
  5. must say iv never seen this before looks quite nie though. bit of a koxx levelboss thing going on wish i could understand the specs on that site. does look like it would ride alright (is it a CNC or cast bottom yoke?) ben.
  6. i do prefer the more imagenative riding like porter and company but i have used a tape measure before and i think there is a place for them it is nice to see what you are having but it shouldnt become all that trials is as lets be honest it would be boring as hell. im not for going compleatly street ether though there has to be a line between bmx and trials but if people want to ride between the both of them good for them there enjoying them selfs and thats what its all about i cant help but feel people want to brand what is and what isnt trials to much...having fun on bikes isnt it? ben
  7. sounds a bit stupidly heavy to me could probly get steel forks for that weight and they would feel stiff i also dont like the idea that the forks cost that much and they have still forged the alloy bits for that much realy you should be looking at CNCing as casting will b weak as hell right? and wont they just not give you any warning and just go bang arrghhhh carbon in my eyes i dont spose i will know anless i rode a set might well have a lush feel to it. ben
  8. i broke more seals in my hs 33 than my RB lever but it seems its down to luck of a good RB or not some leak like a bogger and some dont at all ben
  9. im guessing you work at hellfrauds as well cheers ill have to go EBC again
  10. iv been realy likeing onza ronnies very similar to DX32's why do so many expesive rims get pinned together its weak as hell. ben
  11. had clarks disc pads for my mono mini for a while and i just cant seem to get them working nice at all think im going to have to go back to EBC they have no hold or power and they just dont want to bed in has any one else had problems with them? ben.
  12. alright just wondering what freewheel that was or have DMR made an internal s/s hub? ben
  13. if your having fun i think thats all that matters. and if you have previouse riding experience you should pick stuff up easily. trials just needs more riders in my eyes. ben
  14. right iv ordered a new BB from mr tarty above i also ordered (from midland bearings very helpful chaps realy would advse them) a 6804krs bearing well they dent have a 6804krs so i ordered a 60842rs as he bloke on the phone reconed it would be the same and when it came it was the wrong size bit annoying seems that the inside diameter to me was 21mm and the out somthing weird like 31 this is pritty strange for a few reasons why use such sizes when 20 inner and 30 outer are so easy to get hold of instead of a custom bearing wich would cost a packet?? secondly normaly u times the last lettr by 5 to give the inner bore size so why is it 21 and finaly why did the system not show that bearing even though they stock BRG bearings well i thought id say what had happend and to any body else 6804rs bearings are no good ahh well there letting me send them back the firm realy did seem helpful and im thankful to them just a pain echo have a random bearing size? well im not sure if that made a lot of sence to any one but me but if your trying to find bearings id advise midland bearings but the echo bearing size sems to be a pain. ben
  15. they seem a fair bit heavyer than most forks to me i thought they were 850 mine seem quite wegihty not silly weighty though got to say im shocked. ben
  16. not realy. other than feeling nice it doesnt make all that much diffrence i mean some freewheels have a mushy feel to them but i wouldnt have thought that would be holding your gaps back to much at this stage i mean if its skipping its deffinatly time to get a new one for saftys sake. hat have you got now a dicta? ben
  17. iv had 2 acs claws and they seem to realy last with me when i get them i take them apart and grease them with carbon grease (made for cv joints) then i loctite the lockring when i put it all back together. you can also weld them id sugest this if your running it as a front freewheel. ben
  18. think its a tyre slip on the bench so it was a bit silly good vids made me chuckle. ben
  19. theres the problem it brought it through a friend as unused and the creak started fater a week and iv been an idote and left it might have to give them a ring they also might know about replacment parts hadnt thought of that to be honest thanks a lot. ben
  20. id have to say fatttys they might weigh a bit and be hard to get hold of but there as hard as nails im also liking the zoo forks the ones that look worringly similar to the fattys and they seem pritty bomb proof to. ben
  21. i recon gloved make ur blisters worse and i found when i first went to foams my hand flared up a bit again but i love them now neaver slip and sweat doesnt matter and the halfords ones are as cheap as chips. ben
  22. its going to be hard for me to get to a bearing macheinist but i think i might have to could even sell others as well also having some trouble pulling the mashed old one off the axel. i was hoping i could use somthing like the azonic ones on CRC even if they are a rip off as there can not be much diffrence in the size thnaks for the help though. ben

i do think that trials is getting a lot more varied now compaird to recent standards theres some riders that are producing intresting videos not a look how high i can get up a wall. which dont get me wrong is amazing but lets be honest it does an half get boring to watch but its so easy to just inch count im with martin. ben
  24. i find witha lower pressure you do get so much more spring and it just takes the sting out of things a bit. if im riding a skate park though i tend to put more in as spins and stuff are a bit scary when ur tyres like rolling out on you. ben
  25. nicked off of zoo video 30 "my main man in da houuuuusssssseeeee" that one does rule and "give it some pasty" trials saying are sad but fun. ben
