Paperclip we have a club adoption policy, that we can take in non Scottish people. Yorkshire people are almost guaranteed an entry as I have been there many times and can translate both dialects. Ross will be available for poetry readings in the tree hugger section on Saturday night. BOOK NOW so not to be disappointed. He takes Tunnocks tea cakes as payment. -

Here are some photos from work in progress, There will be five artificial sections and a natural one at the back of the bike shop. Still some big logs to move into place and to lenghthen the sections but looking good. -

Here is the entry form. I must have entries in by 6th June, so as previously mentioned the organiser can have time to issue tickets and parking/camping permits. They have built artificial sections and I will be up next Monday to have a look and get things tweaked if needed and to do an interview on trials with the local press. They have put in a lot of hard work, so lets have a good entry and have a fun weekend with everything else going on. Bunny hop comp on Friday night so lets show them who is boss at that!!! Pics next week. 2016COC entry.doc -

Well done to all involved. It was a great day for all levels I believe. Sections were all superb and well laid out, and the weather could not have been better. -
British Trials Cup - Round 2 - Bob MacGregors, Glasgow
kevind replied to Ross McArthur's topic in Clubs and Competitions
Hope you all had a great day. Weather did play a big part in the results. Thanks to Bob Macgregor Academy for the use of the venue. Rab and Jim for building the obelisk, that took two of Jack and that keeps the COC happy.(although he did manage to clean it after a few more practice tries after the event). Swiggy and Judy kept everybody well fed throughout the day. Big thanks to all the officials and helpers. Looking forward to the next one with all those great sections. Great Saturday night with the Highlanders with camp fire, live music, beer and way to much whiskey, just how Saturday nights should be. We all need to chip in for a tent for a nameless highlander who managed to get stuck under Stephs van all night in his sleeping bag in horrendous weather. Good pic of Aaron. -

I know its a bit away yet, but just back from a meeting with the guys at Cream of the Croft. Killin was on this date but it maybe changed for a later date? The organisers are building five/six artificial sections with rocks and logs and other stuff. It will be part of the big festival that weekend. Free entry to event (still £10 for the trial to cover costs) free camping and parking all riders plus 1 and anybody observing helping free as well. Website will explain more, but adult enduro Saturday and kids enduro Sunday plus bands, stalls and other stuff. I will against rules open up the sections on Saturday for riding, so people can see trials in action. I know it gives an unfair advantage to anybody that cant be there Saturday, but I want to get trials shown both days. I will take a couple of spare bikes up for a give it ago. Please can we have a good turn out as it will show of our sport to a lot of people. Kevin

Anybody that was not at Kinlochleven remember you must pre enter with the Bike Trial Federation for this event. Remember to tick the box if you want included for championship points. (members only) Eight sections couple of new ones and the rest altered enough. Swiggy will have her café open, its worth it just for the cake.

Well 20 riders and weather was better than ever before! Sections were good if not a bit to hard/long. Will try harder! Thanks for the big turn out and well done to all the riders and big thanks to all the observers. Ross cant find anything in the rules to DQ you about internal assistance!!! Although down wind was perhaps abusing the observer, so maybe a yellow card?

Lovin the face in the second pic down. Bring a hanky for the dribbles for Sunday.

Another wee birdy told me Duncan S maybe interested as well. Weather has F*****G changed again!!!! Need to put in an old farts class now as well. All we need is Ben T now and the gang is complete. Just joking, glad that its on the up. another few riders already entered from a few years ago. Yellow flags have arrived.

Hi Gordon,No problem. Hi Cal, Aaron and I will be up on Saturday late morning to set up (maybe Friday if the weather is good), any help is as usual thankfully received! Cal any word on your venue for this year? May have new exciting venue with artificial sections for this year, Have had the okay EM, just need to get up and layout the sections. In conjunction with a bike festival. only problem is a date clash, so will have to sort that out. keep you all posted when I get it sorted.
