  1. The rules say no trading in new members chat. Post constructively until you're validated and then post in the wanted section.
  2. I'd run 4x on the rear wheel if you weren't already going to. Rear disk on a 26" trials bike feels horrible whilst on the back wheel so you'll need all the stiffness you can get.
  3. I got it open, for a freewheel that was locked solid there's nothing wrong with it A few pawls are worn down and I might replace them soon but for now its alright. Thanks everyone.
  4. I was told by multiple people - Including TartyStan that they have standard threads. I'll try it reverse just to check, if that doesn't work I'll head into work and borrow the vice + an old seat tube for leverage. Thanks guys.
  5. Got a pin spanner and it still wont come off. How the guy got it this tight I will never know.
  6. First time I've seen you ride and f**k me it was impressive.
  7. Sneaky double post. I kinda need this urgently as my freewheel might aswell be a sprocket atm, if anyone lives local and could lend me one I'd be happy
  8. Ok still can't get it off. Looks like I'm going on a hunt for a pin spanner tomorrow ¬¬ Thanks guys,.
  9. Spraying GT-85 in there last night disloged something and now my freewheel might aswell be a sprocket, I also can't get the lockring off so it looks like I'm going to have to buy the tool
  10. Guess its waiting until my mum gets up for work, waking her up would be suicide. Also, is your trials club actually in Crowthorne?
  11. As the title says, how can I remove the lockring without the tool?
  12. 10.5kg sounds silly heavy. It felt stupidly light, weight evenly distributed but really easy to lift.
  13. Deffo get the Ice, if you're getting it off Stoozie on the forums then it's one of the nicest bikes I've rode.
  14. Its a freehub not a freewheel. The mechanism is inside the hub itself. Take it apart and look for anything worn / broken, if you can't notice anything wrong, clean it and stick it back together.
  15. Are the backings actually gold? If not tell him to back off.
  16. I think CRC (Chain reaction cycles) do some.
  17. Hey guys, riding around Bracknell chainless today I spotted a rider with what I assume was an Echo Control stock. I was on my way to meet someone so couldn't stop but I'm now on a hunt as there are no local riders to me. Anyone have a clue as to who it might be? Anyone live around this area and up for some rides?
  18. Just run it slammed back in your dropouts with a spoke tensioner?
  19. I read a fair amount of this before loosing interest. I can however say a very well done for this, it must of taken quite a bit of time and has some interesting points.
  20. I've got phats and they can be temperamental, to be honest thought it might be because I've been running them in the rain with a grind so light it's barely scratched the surface, that and the grind is dead. They slip occasionally but as aforementioned, my set up is less than perfect. A huge bonus for me is that they're completely silent with a 2bolt booster set up. I'm going to give it a fresh grind tomorrow and then go off for a ride in the freezing, pissing rain.
  21. I see you're from Surrey? I'm from Berkshire (Crowthorne), do you reckon it'd be possible to grab a lift from anyone going with you?
  22. The others were all pissed off with the weather and wanted to leave, shame to be honest, I had a laugh, stoked on getting the 360 up the bank.
  23. London Weather. According to the bbc it'll stop raining by 9am.
  24. I'm not so much surry but I'm fairly close, about 10minutes drive from the yately side of Surry. Balls deep, your "Crowthorne trials club" is that actually in crowthorne?
