Yea paint striper ( nitromors ) than give it a sand over after. Sanding the whole frame would take ages.

Looks good, did you go round it with some fine wire wool and polish? I done my forks and all the orange bits on my echo yesturday, i just use the same batch for everything than wipe it off after. It works much quicker mixing the caustic soda in boiling water

Updated, all orange bits rawed. Considering rawing the forks and cranks.

Decent gloves, foam grips, they'll soon harden up and wont hurt as much

I use the hope trial zone, has an amazing bite and hold, thats only with a 160 rotor, put a 180 or 200 on and im sure it would be even better. But everyone has different opinions and setups so i cant see there being a specific 'most powerfull brake'.

Only thing than is it would either be locked on or off, you wouldnt be able to feather the brake without the wheel locking up. But it would have the ultimate bite.
