yeh i was thinking the freewheel would engage therefore you wouldn't need pawls, but then thought about the chain still having to drive the backwheel ah well, we got there in te end between us lol  :S
-
hmm now i've thought about it i suppose you're correct but it would be good if you could do it without f**king your hub up
-
or you could just take out the internal spacer (tubular) which sits over the axle between the bearings in the freehub body and the bearings in the hubshell, remove the pawls and springs and then put it all back together as normal if you do up your QR pretty tight then your freehub will be fixed enough to use front freewheel with the QR tension. and you don't need to f**k up your hub in the process so if you decide you hate front freewheel (i know i would) - you can return to normal. start menu > run > msconfig uncheck that file out of the startup tab so it doesnt load when you boot up. least that's wat i told the666ers to do and it worked alrite.

change it again? lol. i've just spent about a month re-doing it from what it was, to that (yes..i made it all) gary is a luddite with computers and already bummed the v1 site (which i also made..but didn't like after a while) and he bums this one even more haha. i changed it because i got bored and wanted to make it look more professional and easier to update in future, which it is. as far as sites go..i suppose i share a different view. i don't like sites with bits and bobs everywhere, flash and all this other bollocks. i'm also very against using frames in a website. i like simple. people can go on, it loads fairly fast and see exatly what they want right there on the page. for a small bike company do you really need a lot else? that's all i'm thinking. even if i did have the know-how to make a site look totally amazing and blow everything else out of the water - i dont't get paid enough and gary wouldn't want to pay for something over flashy when it's not really required IMO. like i said..people go on to look at the frames and stuff, and all the info is down there nice and simple (or so i hope) i hope that doesn't sound bitchy, cos it really isn't. thats just my view. ye lol jonny i did film loads at the jimjam and bikeshow. i was gonna put up a load of 30 second videos for people to download but my camera is broken now so i can't capture any footage to make them.

ultimately (and sadly) all that most voters (bear in mind the majority are probably 25+) care about is the economy and their precious money. whilst they have a stable job, income, home & mortgage in a strong economy as they do now - they're not gonna risk that by voting elsewhere, and are probably quite happy the way things are - whatever goes on in IRAQ and whatever other issues there are.
-
si harvey. uh ye it's called "video__" (and then a number i can't remember what) - i think anyway i dont actually have the video anymore..so i'd like it too! best continue in the other thread dude, get onto some of the extreme video collectors and ask them lol

ar ok M6 (Y) lol ye but you need a threaded insert for the 360 dropout part instead of a normal one / a QR nut. least that's wat clive told me. he also said it was slightly "less stiff" with a QR but i guess that's in his understanding not someone who has used standard dropouts for ever (what's wrong with standard ones anyway?!) i dunno about the BB (i couldn't do it and i'm a PRO mechanic :D) but machining off threads to start with to make your new bb fit doesn't sound too straight forward haha
-
bolt in dropouts - you need a tapped rear axle on your hub. so the inside of the axle has to be tapped with an M5 tap. you can get a QR dropout (the same dropout only with a different 360 insert) which you don't have to tap your axle for, but it's less stiff. if you have a CK hub then you have to ask him to build the frame specifically for this. bb - the shell is 83mm or something daft. so it doesnt use screw in threads. it's held in by interference fit/lock tite/2 circlips. i've yet to meet anyone except clive who understands this system. we tried to get my mates out to replace the bb but couldn't - so he had to get clive to do it for him. basically if you want/need to replace the BB you have to send it back to him. or take the circlips out using circlip pliers (cos everyone has those?!) then heat up the bb shell to melt the lock tite / expand the bb shell. then smash the thing out. then lock tite your new bb back in. last time i checked he didn't sell his frames to anywhere else except the UK but i guess this might have changed. hope this helps boon

hmmm. i agree about the warranty. i used to send mine back to CRC and i did that so much jonny used to basically send out the bars before i'd even sent them back after a while lol. but that was half the problem... i'd put money on me being about the harshest on bars around this forum. god knows how many double walls i went through and i snapped a pair single walls of before i even had a trials bike / any skills at all so i never got them (though smithy is right they are strangely supposed to be stronger than double walls) the double walls (and i'd put money on the singlewalls not being ALL that much better) just dont last under hard riding. eastons do...fact the fact they give u a warranty isnt really of use (though i was lucky) because they don't warranty for new teeth. so i'd get th easton's - that's coming from a thrasher point of view! (Y) oh yeh...if you got your bars from CRC or u wanna try and blag it without a recipt (i never sent mine) then they might replace your azonics for eastons. that's what i did (before i got sponsored by easton) they said as i was a "well known customer" they'd swap them for eastons after i'd explained i wanted something that would last me, and they even refunded me the extra £5 price difference. deal
