  1. Yup..do it (Y) I used to swear by double walls until i realised i broke them too quick Got Eastons (even so i thought i wouldn't get on with them after being in love with the shape of double walls) but never looked back. Strong as hell too!
  2. its not technically a curb and i wasnt sure if it would be allowed :P
  3. helloop well..i saw the curb vid thing and thought it was a good idea so i made this vid. it's not a "curb" but it's a bloody low ledge and i'm sure on a curb then you could do most stuff the same on it :P http://www.trials-shack.co.uk/jonmackinnon/monkey.mpg 34.8mb - 3mins 23secs song : sonic boom six - monkey see monkey do off the album "sounds to consume" http://www.myspace.com/sonicboomsix the vid might not be too trialsy but then neither is a curb. i managed to do the whole video with only 1 dab (2 if u count the reply) so i hope this is sufficient for some people. i had fun making it anyway but i realise it's mostly pretty boring and not uci haha (Y) cheers boon.x p.s i thought this small image summed up the video pretty well. spinning a lot so dizzy, plus my cuddly MONKEY (he's called dizzy) - get it?! <div class='bbimg'></div> Tomm edit Aug 2007 - video available here for all those who are still after this http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/theboon
  4. not wanting to bring up the past but it made me chuckle. i'm sure in "that thread" a while ago you were telling me i shouldn't ride trials at ALL and should get a bmx because i was giving trials a bad name. and then went off crying saying you wern't ever going to post again because you wern't allowed your own opinion. but since you're back...danny just had his opinion, and even that was a joke! so stop gettin your clit out oh the irony
  5. for someone learning to hook from scratch i wouldn't say this is very important bunnyoop(Y)

http://www.gbjab.com/ go watch that it's pretty funny (Y)
  7. only skimmed through this..don't ever ride farmland so it doesn't affect me. but if all you northern monkeys are banned from that, just all go and ride street and see how the government like that
  8. yes..it's very necessary if you want to make a frame of any quality / alignment. you can just about get away with it only clamping the contact points (bb shell, headtube, dropouts) provided you have other stuff for the other tubes to rest on or get them a snug fit before brazing/welding.
  9. if you buy a new curtis frame gary can alter the position of the headtube for you to match it to the fork you are using...roughly keeping the geometry the same.
  10. surefire proof that bmx shouldn't be about what you ride or what you look like (Y)
  11. Osato has gotta be kiddin on one of those...tailwhip to nosepick to tailwhip nosepick to nosepick in (Y) X100

    Mod Video

http://www.eengoedidee.nl/parsefiles/?type...me=bs_style.wmv properly entertaining. good watch just turn off the music. i'm led to believe the video is a few years old too (Y)
  16. dead babies? :) watch the difference between a ferrari and 100 dead babies? i don't have a ferrari in my garage wats the difference between a truck full of sand and a truck full of dead babies? you can't unload sand with a pitch fork (Y)
  17. backflips like that aren't very doable unless u go to a drop which is too high to land front flips are interesting. seen one done on a freeride video down a fairly small cliff drop into a downslope so in theory u could do it. dunno how high u would have to go though on a vertical wall. ask james hawkins about frontflips he has some interesting theorys about how feasible they are lol
  18. you wanna see his sidehop to backwards dropouts down this handrail from the bikeshow :(
  19. which?! :) nah...im smooth as, me. that's how :) plus my bike is uber light :ermm:
  20. I'm selling a pair of double knee dickies work pants in brown if you want em. Never worn..34" waist. Imported them from the States then realised I had too many pairs already :o" These are them but they're dark brown. £20 if you want them. RRP is £40 for UK or more
  21. found this..was quite impressed! step jumping is pretty lame but this is just f**kin stupid (N) http://www.eengoedidee.nl/parsefiles/?type...ls_of_steel.mov check it!
  22. yo boss 9th and 10th of July is NASS just so you know >_< don't have it then!
  23. well the atomlab rims are proving a bit "weak" for my thrashing and tiogas are the only other ones I can get hooked up with for nowt. I like the idea of the welded join and that though. Do you have to grind them to use a rim brake? cos i don't have a grinder and would probably maime myself if I even tried to grind my rims >_< lol the forks. well it was either have them now / for the show without paint, or not have them and get them painted. i might paint them black myself soon if I can be arsed. shadow seat will be back phil. i'm waiting for my hope QR seatclamp and braided hose to come through, and an atomlab seatpost (with the rims.) with all this all on I can get barspun up if i switch seats to the shadow one and pop the post up. depends what i feel like on the given day i guess, certainly looks fly with the tioga one though (N)
