  1. If pads are contaminated you can boil the kettle, then put the pads into a mug for 10 mins etc, then you can see if any soultions etc floating on the surface. but if they're working fine just leavce em
  2. are that style of onza crank still square taper? I had the old, alloy crank arm style cranks (the shortish ones from like 04) and the BB's are awful! i twisted it like anything but didnt realise till i took the cranks off for isis. crank arms were pretty good though I give them that, pretty light I thought Onza hubs were pretty awful on mine (I had 04 t-pro) got really gritty and developed a lot of play lol.
  3. Wait, is the frame going to be in production then? Lovely.
  4. What size was the pitch? I had a old-ish guy come into the shop the other day with a pitch comp with wellgo pedals in silver ? Long shot cos i'm nowhere near Derby but you never know. Think that model of pitch is 08 btw
  5. Sounds good to me but just wondering is there any better FFW's for the price? This will be my first half decent FFW and last I hope. Or shall i just get 108 try all one as everyone seems to rave them, and spare parts are avaliable? I like the sound of the welded lock ring/bearing enclosure system (all my freewheels have come loose here at some stage) Also what's the life expectancy of a GOOD freewheel (i've had ACS claws etc and there rubbish) also are most freewheels for 3/32 or 1/8 chains? thanks
  6. Awesome looking frame that, onza have really stepped the game up in the last 5ish years I think. Time for a new rear tire soon? how can you ride with that lack of tread! I would be very paraniod....
  7. I prefer a good bmx hub on the rear to ffw, but personal preference. i've had trouble with lock rings on ffw's coming loose. should probably of had them spot welded!
  8. Has anyone tried a grind with the Orange/Black magura pads? (not amazing pads I know) I'm not that impressed to be honest, I admit is alot better than smooth rim, but I don't think I could rely on grinding the back rim with these pads (using tar like back in the day for the minuite)
  9. keep the 06' mag! Then build it back up in a few years for retro-ish trials. If you get modern geo though, should also be lighter, from what I remember the chrome t-mag frames were pretty heavy?
  10. yes mate, will have to sort a paypal out.

  11. She does look good, Only thing I'd say is sort out front brake cable It needs taming.

Really liking this I've gotta admit. Looks like a good job too, powder coated?
  13. really does depend on the price mate, and if they are black and uncut.

  14. I wouldn't say 2 fingers resricts you in anyway really. obviously you will have less grip on the bars, I use two fingers on front brake and 1 on rear brake. But I know a few lads who use two fingers on each maggie'
  15. None of the green parts match in colour I do like the 06 frame though, good long geo and decals
  16. such a mean looking frame. Did they ever do a 4 bolt version? Or is that the Tyhoon I forget...
  17. I've seen well spec'ed mods (if thats what your looking for) echo's/zoo's go for 200 and less on ebay. I'd only recommend starting with HS33 brakes as they provide good bite/hold if set up correctly and used with tar or a rim grind.
  18. To be honest I dont notice any difference in makes of skate shoe, but globe DC's Nikes and Reebooks have all served me well.
  19. as dann said yeah.. From what I remember it's just like a normal thread (as in right to tighten, left to loosen)
  20. any spacer is just hasstle from what i've experienced!

true that, but it's become evident that not alot of people run "undersized" bars+stem no more lol.

  21. ah I love my retroish try-all bars though, they ride fine, just my bodged spacer sucks!!

It might just be cos i'm used to my onza stem with 155mm and it's got to be, 35 or 40 degrees sweep that's only why i'm slightly worried about 130mm and 25 degrees odd sweep lol

  22. intresting, my current stem is 155mm, but then I have to run a spacer for the bars cos the stem is 31.8mm diameter.

will have to have a think on it man and let you know, only concern is it sounds quite short.

  23. fair enough man, gotta ask.

can you measure the length in cm/mm for me dude?

  24. cool mate!

can you do any cheaper inc posted?

  25. loving the 04 T-Lite/T-Mag rear tire! retro indeed
