  2. trend setter am i! haha joking. Edit: Split link in your chain!! What are you thinking man!
  3. Help Nadine Staniforth get as many votes as possible in the Roxy Dare Yourself competition!! All you have to do is click on the thumbs up to vote! Make sure you share it on your facebook too to spread the word! https://roxydare.quiksilver.com/facebook/fbtabpage/gallery/17898?fb_comment_id=fbc_431800830247335_2815204_433572986736786#f367b1c058 She doesn't know i'm posting this here, but i'd like to see her win. Sorry to vote whore but i'm not the first to ask for help on here and i feel my reasoning is good, and you'll be helping a fellow trials rider, for riding trials!
  4. head right out north train station, carry on till you get to sea front, right again till you get to stuff that looks fun to ride If you need more help just ask
  5. Like i said to isitafox, i cannot be trusted with power tool's and jim wouldn't do it for me. Plus i've learnt to use brakes so i like having the option
  6. I like the supreme style stuff..
  7. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/80777-how-to-build-a-wheel/ I used that guide & had a wheel that was built sat next to me for ref, it was the tension i messed up because i get bored & loose interest easily
  8. Personally having tried wheel builds twice and neither of them got finished by me, i tend to get someone else. Are you buying a rim & hub & spokes second hand? If so i recommend sourcing built wheels, as second hand wheel parts have generally been taken apart for a reason, and a rim with dings or eggs is never gonna build up too well? But i am female and i'm much better a knitting..
  9. i feel for the person stupid enough to buy it.
  10. might buy a qr seat clamp and just take my seat instead Nah, the grips i'm running are going, i'm gonna order some foams.
  11. proof that my shoes match my seat, when you buy new shoes you buy a handbag to match. In this case handbag & bike don't mix.
  12. Really? I was unsure how it was going to look, but they clash perfectly. Its why i didn't go with baby pink like i wanted. The seat work's when i'm on the bike it matches my shoes

Meh, its too competitive for me i just ride to have fun. Plus the fact theres very few active females in the UK comp scene, and we have our own category. That means that your only ever going against one maybe two people in a competition. But saying that i might have a bash at the Blackpool round this year as its rude to have it on my doorstep and not compete! And me actually getting through any section without 5 and outing, because ive decided to try it brakeless or something stupid would be in your imagination, because it wont happen trust me... Edit: someone just bought to my attention that the Blackpool round isn't on so i guess i won't be entering anything but GetCreative, if that happens..

To be fair though, if i hadden't have found videos from other females, like gemma, nadine and a few others. I would never have picked up a trials bike so big up for just having stuck it out! Good little video too
  15. It is thanks to that front axle & the threaded steerer tube! I'm seriously in love with it now and can't wait for my foot to be better so i can get filming!!!
  16. thanks guy's the grip's are going jake, gonna get some thin foams on it. But like i say the seat matches my shoes so it had to be done!
  17. Taken me a good while to get this looking and riding how i want, and were finally there! Spec: Inspired Element frame & forks. Inspired rims on hope pro 2 trials hubs (team green with front 10mm axle provided by Euan Beaden) Trial tech high bars & short stem, pedals & chain tensioner. Eclat pivotal seat (brown suede to match my Teva riding shoes ) Truvativ Hussefelt cranks & BB Maxxis Holy Roller 2.4 tyres And everything else on the bike is unimportant... It started out life yellow, but i really hated it so yeah had to be rectified and i decided on a good colour in my mind Pics: In parts ready to be built back up Built! 18. What about a digital camera? Camcorders, are a bit 90's... But seriously consider a camera rental, 60 quid will get you something really nice for a day or two.
  19. i'm the same now thanks to brakeless, i'm a lefty and i can do both ways but, although i prefer sidehopping static to the left. So yeah try both ways and see what works?
  20. I've tried.. can't do it so i'm out of this round
  21. If nothing comes up, I'll happily come join you, all of the good trials is on the seafront so its easily found.
