That cnc'd bit looks good.

I know it seems like a strange request and if you don't have one then it doesn't matter. I was just wondering about the welds just below the mounts. I just checked the tarty website and they had some pics up on there. The mounts look solid but surely there's a weak point there around the weld?

Not being funny Ollie but you don't need another bike. Get the one you've got fixed and set up right. If you need any help just let me know. You'll always have maintenance problems with a trials bike no matter what it is. Plus you should check with me or Danny before buying parts off people, even if you think the person is trust worthy.

Stabbing stray dogs and committing crime is way more exciting than trials, therefore you probably struggle to get the same buzz from riding. Why don't you quit trials and start bear fighting or something? I bet there's loads of bear fighting forums you can troll, plus I've heard there's quite a big scene in Russia so you'll make some friends hopefully.

It wasn't a dig at your riding. I just prefer the way your other videos are put together. It was good to see a video with a lot of technical stuff, not enough people do stuff like that.

Trialtech all the way. The amount of people using them says it all really.

There are some good moves in there but it's not as good as your other videos.

Most modern trials forks should be ok because they're designed for wide rims and big tyres.

It'll be good to see him stringing lines together as well because I think theres a few people about that think he doesn't know how to.

9 moves in a video that was nearly 5 mins long wasn't enough in my opinion. The riding was really good but it would have been nice to see a bit more of it.

The point I was making was that if I said it was good then that would be accepted and I wouldn't be expected to elaborate. You pulled me up for not being constructive yet the majority of positive comments on videos aren't so why does a negative one need to be? I thought what I said was enough to explain my feelings on the video so I didn't feel the need to explain further. I do feel bad for the fact that my comment has turned the thread into a big debate about what sort of comments are or aren't acceptable. People seem to be focusing on the fact I called the riding average, presumably because this may cause offense to the rider, but the fact that the guy that made the video might be upset that I don't like his editing seems to have flown under the radar. However after all of this I do feel like should elaborate, the helmet cam shots should have been scrapped because you can hardly tell what's going on, there music thing is my personal taste so if the guy didn't want music then fair enough, the riding was technically ok but like I said it just seemed average. That isn't meant to be offensive, as I said, it was like watching me, and I'm average.

Saying it was good wouldn't be constructive, it'd be being needlessly nice. It wouldn't cause as much controversy though.

I get the rolled forward bar angle but they look upside down. If he likes a lower front end then a lower stem would make sense. If it works though then fair enough, each to their own.

If somebody posts a video that they had nothing to do with, people will still comment on the video. Why criticize the person that posted it? Anyway, I may have been blunt but I stand by what I said. I wasn't suggesting the guy quits riding or making videos, merely that I wasn't impressed by what I saw.

Surely you'd be better off with a different stem. It looks good other than that though.

Nowt wrong with wanting a seat. A custom frame would be perfect for meeting all your requirements. The thing you said about fitting a block on your chainstay for grinds would be cool.

Grinding on any aluminum chainstays would be bad. I'd get jaf to make a steel version of the frame you like if I were you.

I think you need to 're-read the thread. I'm not bothered if he doesn't like my opinion. I was merely giving him some advice that may stop him being offended in future ie don't put things, or let your friends put things on the internet if you can't accept that not everyone will like it.
