I used to wear 661 veggie shin guards and they did a really good job. They have a Velcro bit so you can attach knee pads as well. They can be a bit hot in warm weather though. I don't tend to wear them these days but they're pretty handy if I've got a shin injury.

Right so I'm currently riding an Onza Genesis and have been riding comp bikes for two years, but, I'm feeling more and more like I want something street like a Hex. My question is, has anyone made the switch after never having ridden a street type bike and how much did it hamper your riding at first?

I like the fast pace of the riding, like you're attacking everything you go at.

Does it matter how old the parts are or if they're trials specific?

The length will depend on wether your using a booster or not. Just measure your current ones.

If you could afford to take a gamble on them then maybe. Personally I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot chop stick, they'll either not arrive, fall apart, snap, not actually be Ti or all of the above. If a deal seems too good to be true then it usually is, especially if it's from China. Just realised that if they don't arrive they can't snap. Doh!

I'd start by bleeding it and go from there. It most likely will be that though.

Beautiful. I hope you make another video like that. I was only going to watch the first few minutes but I couldn't stop watching. Those natural spots were some of the best I've seen for a while.

The standard of editing seems to be really high just lately. I was especially impressed by this though. It's nice to see people doing something a little different as well.
