  1. You ever used one? I reckon most modern BMX street freecoasters and that KHE would be well up to it. Reckon the slack would be more of an issue. Ultimately you'd have to determine the suitability based on your style.
  2. Might be out in Southsea in the afternoon. Bit of a treck though
  3. Better to go slack n have to take out another link than go short and have to put one back in. As for your chain line, sounds like the best option would be a shorter bottom bracket but you might be able to get it better with some spacers. How far out is it?
  4. Hopefully you can get it sorted but if it's still not right in the morning, don't let it wreck your ride. Most people would consider my brake (I only have one at the moment) to be shocking but it does for me. Just work with what you've got. You might learn something new. Good luck. Just out of interest, what does boiling the pads do?
  5. Methylated spirits. That purple shit.
  6. Oh yeah, might take a bit of time for your pad to bed in again if you've filed it.
  7. If it was me I'd have a go with some meths and an old toothbrush.
  8. Sorry Ozzy, I've edited my previous post to try n express myself better. Not really taking this to seriously.
  9. All Metallica on my shuffle at the moment. Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets and The Black Album. Need to get a copy of ...And Justice. Also highly rate Appetite For Destruction to ride to.
  10. Yeah, gotta be steel. Wouldn't feel confident riding aluminium forks. Think I'm gonna get the Black Market Tech 9s n get a disc mount welded on. Pretty confident I can make a decent mount and a jig for it. Then just get a mate to weld it up.
  11. Ha ha, more that new Danny MacAskill vid and most of the stuff from the inspired guys. That kinda street/trials riding. Each to their own I guess. I just like a bit more flow.
  12. http://www.khebikes.com/2012/geisha-mtb-freecoaster-p-1353.html Response is adjustable Does not contain any cheese
  13. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn! Side hops are boring and that hook was the worst bit of the video
  14. I'm starting to think that may be the answer.
  15. Yeah, had a pair of these when I was riding years ago but only because I couldn't get P2s at the time. Never really liked the design and I think they'd be too low. Need a disc tab otherwise I'd go for the tech 9s. Also just to be picky, I'd prefer straight fork legs. Cheers though guys.
  16. Liked it most for being something different. Get so bored of watching videos that are all just gaps n side hops. Thought it looked pretty cool too. Want to try something similar now but maybe something a bit lower with a longer slide. Maybe a couple of meters.
  17. That slide on the bin was rad. Just love stuff like that. Was totally watching Danny ride that got me back on a bike after 10 years. So stoked to hear he's working on some new stuff too. Right then, off down Southsea seafront to find a wonky bin
  18. Currently running DMR OW forks on my Rocket but at 435mm axle to crown the front end is a bit on the high/slack side. Put a set of Kona P2s on the other day which were 395mm a-c and the bottom bracket was way too low so I'm looking for something around 415mm. Black Market Tech 9 would be ideal but don't have a disc mount. Anyone know of an alternative?
  19. Running your pedals loose will knackered the thread. They do need to be done up tight!
  20. All sick vids. Never seen that William Spencer before but Richie Jackson is a bloody legend. Always been one of my favourite skaters.
  21. Can't see what advantage this will have over running tubes?
  22. Could file the star nut instead of bending it but it'd probably be a bit of a ball ache. Might be able to turn it down in a lathe? Mind that migt not be straight forward.
