  1. Love how everyone on this forum is so up Tarty's butt hole. They've clearly got a good rep for a reason but they've well dropped the ball on this one. Is it so hard to give this guy a bit of sympathy?
  2. Agree about phoning Tarty but ease up. Tell you what, I'd be having a bitch and a moan if I'd been waiting 4 months to get a product and it turned up looking like that!
  3. Fair play then, that's pretty shit. Hope you can get em replaced okay.
  4. Pretty surprised at Inspired and Tarty who both seem to have a really good rep. This isn't a hoax is it? Think some people are being a bit harsh, if it's genuine. All this stuff about going back to the suplier/manufacturer before putting it on a forum is rediculous. If people don't want stuff like this cropping up on forums, they need to check their quality controll. Gotta say though my limited experience with Tarty Bikes has been excellent and with both companies reps, I'm surprised that a product with such poor finish would get all the way to the end user undetected.
  5. Yeah, new sprocket time before your old one wrecks your new chain!
  6. Got my whole bank holiday weekend fully booked already with the only riding on my road bike maybe next weekend though
  7. I guess when i made the coment i was thinkin more about aesthetics than anything but it's not a hard trick either. Just felt the standard of the rest of the vid was so much higher. I reckon it's better to have the best stuff at the end too. Still rad though.
  8. This kind of riding's not usually my cup of tea but well impressed with the brakeless skills. Would scratch the barspins at the end though. So not up to the standard of the rest of the video. Oh yeah, I kinda like the frame. Not what I'd ride but for a pure trials frame, I reckon it looks cool.
  9. Yeah, I'd totally agree with this but likewise good style can't save a shonky trick and x up to drop is a rotter.
  10. No, x up to drop is always lame. It's one of the things that really pisses me off on trials videos. Especially when people talk about "stylin it up" and shit like that. People just chuck it in because it's easy but it looks shit. The crank flip at 2.15 is a million times better than any x up drop.
  11. Don't know how anyone can rate x up to drops. It's the lamest trick going. The crank flip to drop on the other hand was rad.
  12. Cheers. Didn't know they heated the tubes to bend them. Thought they'd be done cold.
  13. Cheers guys. Been drawing up what I want on autocad today. Geo is pretty rubbish on my current setup (69 degree head angle!) so i think I'm gonna have to go for it. I'll just dimension up what I've done and convert it to PDF and hope that's cool for him. That's the easy bit done, now I gotta get some funds together.
  14. Anyone know if he'll work to a drawing sent by email? Guess he probably won't have autocad but i figure if I send a PDF with all the dimensions on it, he should be able to work from that. Anyone done this?
  15. Yeah, landing both wheels at the same time will help for sure. You don't really want to focus on carving. You'll carve a bit naturally but focus on turning your head and shoulders, looking for where your front wheel is going to land and the rest of your body and the bike should follow. I know what people are saying about it being in your hips but for me that's something I feel happen more than focus on. All about turning your head and shoulders.

    Not Trials

From the music and the intro, I wasn't expecting good things but that was seriously impressive.
  17. Just a bit of messin about. Had an idea today that I might be able to hop up a ledge or something and land in a kinda layed down skid. So I had a couple of goes and it wasn't really happening, then I spotted a piece of blue foam mat down on the edge of the water tried skidding on that and it worked pretty good. Recon I'll be able to do it on concrete when I get the technique dialed and just chuck it in a line or something.
  18. Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm after fork wise. Do you know what the OD is on the fork legs?
  19. Does he do forks? I got DMR OW at the moment and they are way too long. Thinkin about getting Black Market Tech 9s but I'd have to get a disc mount welded on.
  20. Lovin SB Blazers at the moment http://www.flatspot.com/products/nike-sb-blazer-black-team-red-white
  21. Just been getting back into riding recently and I've eyed up a whole load of lines I want to do. Some are still a way off, a couple I've decided were just too ambitious and may not even be physically possible but most I've just been ticking off as I go. Just keep eyeing it up when you go past and try other stuff that's similar and eventually you'll get to a point where you know you you're going to have it or it's just not going to happen.
  22. Seriously thinking about getting a Marino now. Guess I was a bit put off by the look of the welds but I haven't heard of anyone having any problems with the 4130 cromo frames and I'm pretty confident I know what I want geo wise. Seems like it's worth a go for the money.
