  1. Hello going to build up a onza mod next week and are about to order a new disc hub for it on the rear, when I suddenly noticed that it says on every hub that it wont be compatible with onza frames and disc brakes? The only ones that doesn't have that text is the trialtech sport lite disc hub 116 mm and Neon sealed rear disc hub. So does any of these fit my onza or am I f**ked? My mate had problems with his onza rubbing the frame, but he just put a spacer on the disc side and it sorted it...
  2. Hey tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything useful.. Does anyone have a way to get a freewheel of a crank without a vice? I have everything else, just not a vice...
  3. Bought a jitsie, let's see how long this lasts
  4. Really craving a DD mod.. Buy my bike!!

  5. I don't have one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Not sure if I'll stick to one type of brake. I tend to change parts pretty often on my bikes hehe :$
  7. Thank you, seems like that is what I'm after then
  8. No just to fat mate, won't be able to run a hope on the mod I'm planning on building x What would be your best bet if I constantly break Echo pawls?
  9. YOYOYO! So snapped some pawls in my echo freewheel, don't know how much mr Booth used the bike before me but can't be much (Not blaming this on Mr Booth at all, just stating that it's new). So this echo freewheel which came on the bike must be pretty much brand new... Either way, I've been "riding" for 2 years pretty much, and I've killed 6 freewheels, all of them from pawls snapping... I obviously need a new one, but I'm curious about the new Jitsie freewheels? How are they? Or should I just buy the echo and replace it every 4/5th month of riding as I usually tend to do? I'm so tired of replacing freewheels and not being able to trust them at all... It seems like the pawls are the things that breaks for me. Help would be mucho appreciated! Thanks:)
  10. Hey is it possible to use a sloping stem on a normal "flat" fork? I will have a spacer on top of the stem so the top cap can tension it properly. Would it work for a ride or two?
  11. I've used table tops for a good while on my previous echo 24" on the front. Never ever had any punctures or grip problems with them at all! Get them
  12. Derek you're so f**king good! Nice bike aswell...

  17. It's mainly that the persons I ride with have decreased alot, and the people that's left only wants to ride in the nature, and I f**king hate that! I love my new bike, so it's not the bike that is the problem anymore, it's just that I really don't like riding alone. So bouncing around on a few pallets waiting for 10 days in England is a bit shitty... we'll see!
  18. Riding isn't really fun anymore. Really just thinking of selling and properly quit..
  19. I use it before I go to the gym. And yes I do 'get low' on energy at the end of my 1,6 mile bike ride + gym workout, but just having another banana does the job. The crash I'm having is because I'm running out of glycose
  20. Try to drink coffe, if you can't there's some tea that has the same ammount of caffeine as coffee! I don't get the same buzz from redbull as I get from just real nice coffee. And you can definetely eat protein before. It still takes around 8 hours for the protein to get digested into your system.
  21. I don't have the energy now to explain why this happens... But basically cut the shitty fast carbohydrates, and eat a lot of complex carbs like brown rice. Do this before you ride and if you still feel a bit low on energy, have a coffe and a banana. Caffeine stimulate the central nervous system, and also increases the amount of adrenaline in your system, causing a rush of extra glucose and oxygen to your muscles. The banana is good because it gives you a extra bit of glycose. And if you start to feel low on energy after a while, have another banana
  22. If you're thinking about the "street trials" danny macaskill does, then no that's not the "right bike". I presume that you are a beginner? If so, starting off on a 20" onza (like you have) is a really really good base to learn the basics on! Way better to learn the basics on a 20" bike and then move onto a 24" inspired like Danny macaskill have.
