Looking stronger isn't always stronger.

Just spent 30 mins in a multistorey carpark (it's raining) bedding them in. The new sintered pads feel miles better, totally silent (for now) modulation on these is really good. Nothing like any other avid I have tried, pad rock is non existant aswell which is good. Forgot to add dry bedding in, no water.

I also got new Rt66 rotors in 203mm, hope mounts, and a few new pairs of pads for the saints.

Ali that was seriously good and Mark amazing work as usual. I'm watching again then off out on bike.

Downhill, that was about an hour's not riding much, indoors aswell. It does look like a shit compound, like you could pick it off round the edges.

Isopropyl alcohol, to wipe discs, supposedly best stuff evaporates with no residue. Lightly sanded discs on a flat surface, with a sanding block and 200 grit, I think wet and dry. I them washed discs with fairy and hot water, rinsed really well. I also sanded pad surface, until it was like new, then left them all on radiator to dry.

I decided against those as they would probably shout help everytime I brake.

Ordered. Surely these brakes should work best with the rotors that came with them.

Everything full New brake set, looking online it can be a number of things Contamination of pads/rotor Mounts need facing Caliper not aligned correctly One site said a bad bedding in period can cause squeal, if the pad material is Not laid down evenly on the disc. I'm pissed with brakes. I'm looking at different pads all I can find for them are these from uber bike http://www.uberbikecomponents.com/category/331/View-all-Avid-SRAM-Disc-Brake-Pads-here What compound would you recommend from what they offer? Kevlar Sintered Semi metallic Race Matrix Help!!!!!!!

Having a bad time with brakes, rode these tonight and they were ok for about half hour, no noise, but gradually the squeal came back really bad, can't figure out what's going on.

He told me on insta he's only using the sram db5. But it's really good.

Never mind cassettes, we had microdrives

Ye tried tape on the pin didn't do much, not tried it on the backings, that wasn't the main issue, they started squealing like a pig, New pads, rotors cleaned, filed paint off mounts, still really noisy, been like that for a while, only used to be noisy when wet but now all the time, as if they are contaminated, but can't see any leaks. Sending them back under warranty see what they say, I really liked the saints.

Was sick of my noisy, squealing, pad rocking saints, so here we are, was going to try magura mt7 but got advised against them.

I just take the card out and put it in pc/laptop, cut and paste into a folder, look at pictures/footage, then delete as necessary. Gopro studio is ok for basic editing, and can do timelapses really easily.

My mate works as a welder, making skips. His workmate was off work for a few days, this is the result. attachment=68671:IMG-20141117-WA0006.jpg]
