  1. My old car had that , looked really nice in the showroom but it looked like the colour of turd in darkened weather ie. Scotland 364 days of the year ... But if you want unique I'd say either camo style paint or just a rainbow bike would be pretty different ? My old YaaBaa had grey / blue camo on it and looked amazing and stood out a lot , especially after it became a unicycle .
  2. Wow who does that amazingly sexy bike belong to?
  3. Well a while ago I created a group on facebook for guys to organise rides and sell stuff ect . But sinse nobody ever seems to want to properly organise anything all we do is bitch about each other . We got a petition for a local trials park to be made that got something like 150+ signatures but nobody did anything with it which is annoying :/
  4. *Old lady runs out of house screaming * "Your not welcome here ! Your making too much noise and disturbing people !" I was on a mod bike , with disk brakes and her house was like 100 meters away She then proceeded to call the police , I later found out that she calls them all the time for unimportant reason and is just generally bitchy to everybody .
  5. Parkway drive's deep blue album helps me get into the mood.
  6. Parkway drive's deep blue album helps me get into the mood.
  7. I recently switched direction , I find to make sure you land of both wheels , preloading before the kick helps me to do it just because it gets you higher up and thus removing the need to pull up the rear of the bike .
  8. Well this is odd but as some of you said I now sidehop both ways to the same hight ( just above 5 pallets (blue)). I got a 24" and after two weeks worth of riding it not only can I sidehope the "normal "way but to the same hight as I could before . So here's proof changing to stock or 24 increases your skill very quickly
  9. Well I have them on my 24" and I agree about the low tyre pressure , it just makes it feel flat and gives hardly any bounce
  10. Well I know it's not exactly the same but recently I got an Echo 2011 24" and even after just a couple of days on that I had noticed my riding was better and going back on my mod I could side about 2 inches higher than before so I use it as a street bike and learn moves on it so when riding the 20" for natural I preform better . I assume it carries over to switching to stock .
  11. Double disk on 20" Magura rear and disk front on 24" and dual mags for 26"
  12. Anybody tried kenda kinetics ? Got some coming and wondring what opinions of them are ?
  13. New story Was attempting to hook up a wall and got most of the way up , I put to much weight forward though so I was doing an endo on the edge of a 130ish cm wall , the break slips meaning I faceplant and as I had nothing to clean up the masses of blood covering my face I kept hearing stuff like " See he's a real man , loves his girlfriend every day of the month" I was not happy ...
  14. So let's hear about injuries of the funny variety , mine was ... Riding on my 20" a couple years ago ( as a noob) using it for dirt jumping . I got into the air , feet slip off the pedals I fall onto the frame so if you can imagine me sitting on the rear of the frame with my ass on the tyre . The bike land giving me one hell of a bruise on my " man area " and tearing and burning a large portion of my ass . :$ I haven't tried it since ...
  15. Mile and a half ? I do 2 everyday on mine ? You might need a new chain .
  16. Pour water on dis & pads then cycle around with the brake on slighly then do a gap every so often , I bedded in my hopes doing that in 5 minutes . Side note how to you face forks ? Also never get the roter hot then put water on it that will glaze the pads and completley ruin them .
  17. It all depends on you style and what you prefer as said earlier there are 6:5ft + poeple who find mods comfy and pretty short guys who ride 26 . 20" and 26" are pretty decent all round bikes for street , natural and comp style riding whereass 24" in more for street style moves incorporating bmx and trials tricks .
  18. I would say grind is much better , it stays working in the wet , gives great performance ( TNN LGM for the win) . Side note on tar , although it helps performance it can make your brake stick on which isn't fun , I have dislocated my shoulder because of it .
  19. In my opinion as your first bike I'd get a cheaper one as in a month or two you may decide you don't want to do trials , I have seen it many times with people buying £600+ bikes then quitting after a few weeks and wasting quite a lot of money.
  20. Was just saying why I found it easier , I wanted to know if their is any solid noticable performance increase .
  21. Just to add in more info , I can sidehop to both directions but the "right " way I can to quite a lot less and find it much harder as much emphasis is on the rear of the bike whereas the "wrong" way there is more on the front which I find gives you more control on the landing especially on natural terrain . I also ride quite a bit of street . Might not make a difference but I ride a pretty long 20" bike wheelbase is about 1035mm.
  22. Cheers just got back into trials again after a 4 month break and can barely manage 5 chub anymore :$
